  • The "nuts" will come off
Size: 11
Wow do I miss my spiked soles. These came with a little allen wrench to tighten down the screws, which I did. I wasn't out more than two hours and already three of the screws/nuts have come off, littering the riverbed. I actually found two from someone ELSE's Korkers on the bank!! Their neat how they click in, and you can switch out different soles, but that's as much positive as I can say. They're expensive and unfortunately, unreliable for endurance. In 20 years of fly fishing the Deschutes, Rogue, McKenzie and Willamette Rivers, I never lost one spike. Now, apparently I have to track down & buy more of these screws and nuts. I would not recommend, unless you like sitting on the riverbed digging mud out of the screws so you can tighten them a few times a day. ... show more

  • Not worth the frustration
Size: 10
They add LOTS of traction...good luck keeping them to stay. I have tightened them to the point I think they are going to strip AND still they will come loose. I would recommend the ones with the spikes, they are lighter, cheaper, and you won’t have to worry about losing pieces.

  • what a difference hex makes
Size: 12
been using spikes on central PA streams for many years and they were only ok. the Aluminum hex Korker sole is unbelieveable. don't need wading staff much of the time now and good footing is now constantly underfoot. great purchase and well worth the cost.

  • Meh...
Size: 11
After one day on White River... tightened the bolts as suggested, and they still fall out... don’t waste your money...

  • comes loose easily
Size: 10
I bought these to wade the madison. I made sure to tighten the studs when I teceived them and again right before we started wading. By the time I finished my evening trip on the Madison I had lost all but 5 on each boot. Rather dissappointing.

  • Fits well
Size: 13
As long as you give the correct size of your boot they fit well. Look forward to trying them out in the spring.

  • They look great but fall out too easy
Size: 12
I bought these soles for a trip out west and I even set the screws with loctite blue before I ever used them. The picture here is after three days of wading on slippery rocks. It is just a poor design and a real safety issue. I would give zero stars if I could . It is a real disappointment to me because Korkers have been a big part of my saltwater jetty fishing footwear for many years. These are just awful. ... show more
