I would definitely not re-purchase. The very first time I used it, I heard the crunching of plastic within the stretcher mechanism itself. These are plastic parts that are trying to stretch tough shoe material, like leather. I can’t imagine these working for anything really heavy duty like a cowboy boot. I’ve tried it inside of a Sam Edelman Chelsea-style boot, with no luck in stretching. I had high hopes of these stretching out various types of sandals, boots, and other types of shoes, but have not had any success in creating width. I have a wide foot and high instep, so it is hard for me to find shoes to fit. This stretcher is not the solution. ... show more

The shoe stretchers are easy to use, an strong. My left sneaker was hurting my food, so I added a small attachment to the stretcher so it could stretch that area and it worked like a charm.

When I first got these I was not happy. Found them frustrating to use and seemed flimsy. So tried again more slowly (reading directions this time!} and they fit perfectly. Left them in my sneakers just over 24 hours as directions said and when I put my new sneakers on they were more comfortable and less tight.
