Putting just one in the toebox did nothing to prevent creasing.. HOWEVER, since I bought a 2 pack, I used two in each shoe. Worked perfectly, but the sides of my feet were getting annihilated. Took them out, cut about an inch off the long side pieces and rounded them out.. and boom, now they are perfect. Took about 5 mins worth of trial and error but I now have my desired result without the associated pain these come with. 3 stars only because I was actually able to use it with modification.
