  • Excellent Backpack
I was in the market for something more streamlined than your usual tech-bag, that looked and felt good. This is exactly what I was looking for. Materials: - Great feeling materials, not cheap feeling or looking - Zippers feel great and heavy duty - The TSA lock doesn't feel cheap or clunky - The stitches are good quality Comfort: - Straps are comfortable, not too thick or thin - The back piece is padded and textured so it's comfortable and minimizes sweat - The handle is semi-hard making the bag comfortable to carry in hand Compartments: - There's a spot for everything. - The compartment for the USB cable/battery is large so you can fit a sizable battery in there - The velcro backed bags are a great idea and keep your loose wires in one spot, not cluttering the bag. It also makes it easy to take out. - The laptop/tablet compartments are nicely padded with a soft material (like most soft laptop cases) Overall this bag has a great feel, is very comfortable to carry and is loaded with features. I am very satisfied with the purchase. ... show more

  • Be proud of your manbag
Style: Snapsling Grey
It's better quality than most of the other "affordable" bags I've tried. I mainly bought it for a long vacation, and I've found myself using it more even after coming back. It looks better because of it's sleeker profile, and it doesn't scratch easily. Comfort is fair - I used a should pad to stop it from digging into my neck. All in all, I don't regret getting it because it made the trip easier. ... show more

  • Well thought out but still room to improve
Style: Hipack
I needed a backpack for travel that would allow me to bring my essentials along (laptop and tablet) securely in a minimalist way. Pros: well thought out overall design and layout, comes with a few velcro attached inner pouches for toiletries and cables/adaptors, and has clever small pockets to keep things organized. The straps are very comfortable and remain so, even when the backpack has to be worn for several hours, even though the straps have a tendency to slip a bit. The shell is made in such a way that it doesn’t sag. When fully loaded it fits under the airline seats. Comes with a lock and a thin cable to secure the bag to a table to prevent it from being snatched. Hidden pocket for passport/valuables is great! Minor cons: When fully unzipped, the zippers can be difficult to close again, especially with the bag fully loaded. The shoulder straps do not have a sternum strap which would be very helpful to keep the backpack better in place and prevent the straps from slipping. Great value for the price though. ... show more

  • Comfortable Backpack with Thoughtful Features!
Style: Hipack
Overall this backpack has been designed with high quality materials, a host of thoughtful features and plenty of storage! On the exterior of the bag, the light gray material facing outward when worn, is made to resist scratches, tears and other type of abrasions. Although I did not test the bag in rain or snow, I feel that it would hold up well. The backpack is lightweight, comfortable and easily adjustable. Under one of the shoulder straps, a USB port can be found and is easily accessible. Through the interior of the bag, a wire connects the USB port to a portable power source (not included) of your choice. Inside, a pocket with a battery symbol shows where the USB plug from the port can be connected to a power source. On the other shoulder strap, inside a zippered compartment, a water bottle holder can unfold out. Above the same strap, one will find a coiled cord that can be stretched out and secured around an object to prevent theft of the bag. At the top of the backpack, the two main zippers can be placed into a configurable TSA lock to block inside access. Behind both straps, on the back side of the bag, there is a hidden zippered compartment for added security. When the bag is completely unzipped, it opens like a clam shell. Due to its design, there is quite a bit of space inside. On one side, there is a laptop compartment, a tablet (or similar) compartment and zippered compartment for the portable power source and other small items. On the other side of the bag, there are two removable zippered storage bags, two pockets underneath where the storage bags velcro onto, two pockets on the inside walls of the bag and a large open pocket with a built-in zippered pocket. When opened, both removable storage bags have mesh pockets to quickly locate items, additional pockets and either a hook or carabiner. Other amenities included are a rain guard that covers the entire backpack, and a small RFID bag to store item that one would like to be shielded. Overall, I am happy with the backpack. It is the right size, lightweight, comfortable and has a number of the features that I wanted to satisfy both my business and personal needs. ... show more

  • Not worth it
This thing was a pain to use. The chest strap was way too high and was almost a choker and broke after 2 days. The straps are incredibly difficult to adjust. The lock cord barely extends long enough to attach to anything other than the zipper. Only the laptop compartment locks, there's no way to lock the main compartment. I returned it because it was more of a hassle to use than anything. Also, the side pockets are worthless. Too small for a drink bottle and the space for the pocket extends into the main compartment so if the bag is full, you can't fully use the side pockets. Also, the side pockets are magnetic to stay shut so if your bag is really full, they won't stay shut. The plug section on the external of the bag is a poor design, the USB-c is at a weird angle recessed in the little compartment which doesn't allow for most cables to plug into without hitting an edge. ... show more
