I have alway admired Korg keyboards, so when my son needed something to practice on I chose the C1 air based on the great reviews and the Korg reputation. I must admit that the unit looks good in our living room, but the piano sound is nowhere near the $1500+ league. The piano sounds are muffled and twangy almost like a honky-tonk piano. I have tried adjusting the brilliance, chorus, reverb, layering multiple sounds, all to no avail. Korg, really? I shell out for a decent piano and this is what shows up? The media could not be loaded. This is the best digital piano I've owned. The sound quality is off the charts, has a midi in-out, a 3.5mm output to connect it to speakers or your computer as a microphone, and 2 different 3.5mm jacks for listening to it. One of my best purchases, been using it for almost a year and my only regret is not buying it sooner ... show more

I listened to various digital pianos and found the Korg C1 Air to have the best balance of sound, not too bright and not muddy. It was easy to put together, is very well built, has a great manual.
