The refrigerator is great. Sadly, it arrived with a deep big dent. The dent looks rusty (you can see it in the pictures), so I guess the damage wasn't during the delivery —it seems to be an old hit. The fan in the freezer went out and then quickly followed by the refrigerator fan. Going ro have to find parts now. $2500 is a lot for only 2 years. My parents refrigerator has lasted over 15 years.

The media could not be loaded. Update: Koolmore CS finally responded back to my repair request and were then prompt to address the issue. Although the product experience was less than ideal I am updating my rating to reflect the high quality customer service provided by the manufacturer. I've used this product for less than 3 months and am dealing with 2 major issue 1) Freezer: there's ice forming inside the freezer tray and side walls, its happening with the freezer temperature set to lowest. I've cleared up the ice twice now and it just reoccurs. I also can feel the cool air leaking from the freezer top (when I place my hand on it) and believe the ice forming could be a result of it 2) Noise- the fridge makes a humming noise, I suspect its from the motor. I contacted Amazon Support and they punted the issue to the manufacturer, I am still waiting to get a response from KoolMore. Overall very dissatisfied with the product and customer support. ... show more

I needed to replace my 15-year old dieselpusher RV 4-door 12 cubic-foot propane/electric refrigerator/freezeer with a new all-electric refrigerator/freezer. This KoolMore 18 cubic-foot beauty (KM-RERFDSS-18C) was one of only two french door and bottom freezer models I found that fit the bill. The toughest criteria was height. Most new fridges were too tall to fit in the space. The KoolMore was a little deeper than the old fridge, but it only stuck out a few inches more which was not a problem. I have a Samsung that's about the same size as this. Not only does it have a built in ice maker, it's got nice sturdy handles which are better for people with larger hands. I got a Samsung after noticing also that this one is made in China, so it's unclear what kind of service, etc would that offer.

Got the fridge today. Came packaged very carefully. No damage anywhere on product. When I plugged it in it made a noise letting me know it connected. The alarm setting on it does work. Perfect, thank you!
