I was surprised at how much better it felt to hold my PS5 controller with these grips than without. As long as you plan on leaving these on here permanently, they work and do what it says. Keeps hands dry and more grip. You can reposition them once in the beginning. After about 25 mins of gameplay I tried to readjust and the adhesive stuck to my controller and ripped the cushion backing off. Can easily see in the phot. ... show more

Haven’t installed them yet. Bought a set of joystick pads. Had a set rip upon first install. Materials they used were garbage. Worried if I install the grip pads they’ll fail also. Probably send both sets back to be honest.

First off I will say these things are great. They take a little patience while applying, and you can see the slight wrinkles on the reserve side, but those are the only two real drawbacks for these guys, as long as you're not planning to take them off. Before I get into the removal I will say that they may be noticeable in the photo, but the slight wrinkling isnt noticeable by touch and it's on the back so doesn't bother me at all. I did have to remove one side of these from my original controller and it does leave the entire adhesive layer in your controller when you pull off the skin (at least it did on mine). However, with a little rubbing, and a tiny bit of GooGone, they look brand new. I was taking mine off because I had ripped a piece and was replacing it with a new one, so I figured all it did was give it more to stick to, but that is only the case for a little bit. I honestly thought I was being slick, saving time and adding more adhesive to the situation, but that just allows the piece to shift over a fairly short period of time. Make sure to clean it well before you add these. All in all I really like them. I replaced the back piece of my new camo controller with a "textured" shell that worked just a tad better than the stock when it comes to slipping off everything so, as you can see, I got a set for it and I'm totally happy with it covering part of the print. I struggled with the ps5 controller being so slick and my hands getting so sweaty when gaming. i mean it was like a bar of soap before these grips. i’d have to reset my grip every few minutes and firmly hold the controller to get the right holding position. ever since i’ve put these grips on my controller my whole gaming experience is 10x better. no longer do i have to reset my grip and let my sweaty hands air off. they’re amazing. just get them. the material is similar to a premium tennis racket grip that gets gripper when it is slightly moist. i also really like the added thickness these add to the controller. at first i didn’t think i would and i thought it would feel uncomfortable, but that is just not the case. again if you have big hands like i do, you’ll appreciate the added thickness. it also feels nice to squeeze as there is some padding you can clearly feel where your fingers rest on the back of the controller. installation wasn’t the easiest i’ll say, but just take your time, make sure it’s all aligned and symmetrical and you won’t regret it. you can restart installation if you put them on crooked. i had to restart about 3 times before i got it perfect. they do have a weird factory smell for a couple days but it does go away. ... show more
