    • Better than a tape on a reel.
The fact that this tape is loose makes it easy to stuff in a pocket. It is easily accepted by all my horses, as it does not have the "scary" metal reel that the tape goes into. It's kind of fun to know how my mini horse's diet is coming along.

    • Terrible. Confusing.
Worst tape for measuring my horses ever. I followed the directions where you get the inches around the "Heart Girth" then the length of the body - multiply then add 330 and my horse came out to just under 6000 pounds. I know he needs to lose weight, but that is ridiculous. Also, do these people ever see a horse that needs this thing??? They are fat! The tape didn't 't even have enough numbers for my draft horse that has been on a diet for 6 months. ... show more

    • My vet had to show me how to use it
I didn't know how to measure the horse correctly without the help of the vet. She told me to start the tape where the horses mane ends. Then the vet was unsure as well. She was used to tape that had zeros on it? This doesn't. So we picked a spot just above the silver buckle. We will tape from there to see any changes ... show more
