I have been happy with Kona black fabric for a long time, and this was no exception. I received excellent service from the company. My four yard piece was about 1/2 inch short, and they included a sizeable extra piece, which more than made up for the 1/2 inch shortage. Just a word to those who have not used Kona before, it does shrink, so be sure to prewash. Also bleeds some, so wash alone or use some kind of dye grabber. The colors stay true, however. Love this fabric! It's softer and doesn't feel as cheap as your average 100% cotton. Doesn't fray as easily, either. The jet black is deeper than regular black - looks richer. Used vinegar when I pre-washed it to address any bleeding.

Kona cotton as been THE place to obtain true black quilting cotton for the past 25 years. It's my staple black. All other blacks I've ever purchased are charcoal gray by comparison.
