  • Such a perfect transaction!
This fabric looks fabulous! Judging by the reviews I read, I expect it will be! So far, I couldn’t be more pleased. Fabric arrived sooner than expected and was packed with the utmost of care and professionalism. I plan to use this black fabric to line the sash of a lady’s robe.

  • Fabulous fabric! Fabulous seller!!
Fabulous fabric!!! I sew professionally and as a fiber artist. I am leery of buying fabrics that I can't see and feel, but, needed to top-off an order for free shipping, so I took a chance on this basic black. So glad I did! It is very, very good quality, weight and texture and the solid black is vivid! Hancock's of Paducah is a fabulous [mainly] quilting fabric store in Paducah KY, which I happened to visit when I was in town. I did not realize or notice when I placed this order that they were the sellers. It came faster than anything else in the order, most of which has not even shipped yet and very well protected in plastic and the mailer. So very, very pleased with this and will definitely look into buying online from Hancock's of Paducah again and again. By the way, this store is not associated in any way with the national chain of hobby-fabric stores, many of which have recently closed. Of course, also, Kaufman is a well known top quality fabric. I needed a basic black for the background on a quilt to be made and this is the perfect weight for this purpose. This fabric is perfect also for any clothing, home furnishings, etc. ... show more

  • Wash the fabric first before sewing it! For better use!
I bought this fabric a couple of weeks ago and when the fabric arrived, yes it was covered in some sort of loose filaments all around. Solution to get rid of the loose filaments? Just wash it and gentle drying will do the job! It is somewhat sturdy but not too much for a softer feel! It does attract other loose lints and smaller debris. I use a lint peel remover to solve it and there you go. At the moment I am making face masks for my mom so she can feel comfortable during long hours at work. I also iron a non woven interface into the black fabric and then sewed a 100% cotton white combed fabric on the inside for a soft feel on the facial area. It is easy to work with will need to iron when it gets wrinkled. I had no trouble sewing or cutting the fabric to the shape I desired. As seen in the images above! ... show more

  • Great Quality Fabric
I am a quilter and since retiring do alot of sewing. This fabric, particularly the Kona Cotton is the best out there-since I found it, will use nothing else. Hard to find in some areas of the country, have resorted to buying it online.

  • Great job!
This fabric was cut straighter than the local fabric shops cut. Very pleased with the quality and the color. Thank you for what you do. I may be purchasing my next black fabric from you.
