Assembly - power tools will help make the process go faster. Make sure to pay attention how the parts are assembled CAREFULLY or be prepared to dissemble parts constantly. Otherwise, all the parts and supporting hardware are labeled quite well, not much margin for error. Stability - If this is meant for a non-rental property, ABSOLUTELY utilize the included hardware for bracing this frame to an adjacent wall. It took me a couple of weeks to get comfortable with how much movement there was (honestly not much, but enough you will noticed and be a little weary), but I also live in a rental unit so I did not want to drill holes in the walls to anchor the frame. If you can anchor this frame, it will be solid. Also, just make sure you lock all of your hardware tightly when assembling this frame and you should be fine regardless. Use - A twin/double sized mattress will fit in this unit without issue. I use a twin and it even has a small margin of space both in the length and width. I simply filled this small amount of space with extra pillows. The built-in ladder for this frame is useable, but it is not comfortable at all to use. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using a secondary ladder since this is something that is used daily. You can easily buy or assemble one from your material of choice. ... show more

The loft bed is so wobbly we had to go out and buy baces for it to try and make it more secure also the ladder hurts your feet to walk up the ladder. I had to go out and buy pool noodles to put around the bars so it didn't hurt so much. Definitely would have spent the extra money on a better loft bed. Regretting my purchase. ... show more
