Used this product to seal a leak on a old mobile home. Taped where the mobile connects to the lanai. Then covered over with a rubber sealant. So far, so good. Rainy season is coming, so time will tell. Easy to use. Great value for the money.

I buy and refurb trailers and the last one was in terrible condition. After I sanded and refinished the roof I wanted to seal the seams. I bought a roll of this tape and it was the perfect solution. Be aware that once it's placed "it ain't gettin' unplaced". The temperature was in the upper 60's when I used it which was really a good temp, I'm sure the warmer it is the easier it will be to work and even more adhesive. I'm not sure how it works on fiberglass but on metal it, so far, has worked as well as anything I've used. And less expensive and easier to use than the self-leveling caulk. ... show more

I haven't used this brand before, but used similar on RV roofs for many years over nasty holes and this stuff hangs on and you will not get it back off Without a massive butt kicking.

I needed a tape to repair the roof on my 89 c class RV, and although there’s another almost 5 star rated product for this application, this was 1/2 the price. New to this RV repairs, so took a long time researching options. I was looking for quick temporary fix, as well this also described as capable of applying roof coating over it seemed like the best choice for me. After using, I’m sure I made the right choice. This tape is amazingly sticky, easy to apply, has a nice smooth finish, and sealed up the tear in my EPDM roof perfectly. It’s not been but a few weeks, so longevity isn’t something I can make any statement about, but I expect that my “temporary” solution to my leaking roof has upgraded to a PERMANENT SOLUTION. I’ve sense used it to patch a lumbar tarp, fix a crack in some fiberglass, seal up around a few windows, seal corners of the fiberglass siding underneath the trim molding,..... I plan to test the ability to paint soon, and will add my findings to this if I can figure out how, lol. I’ve read so many reviews about other products having problems with the plastic or paper lining being difficult to remove, I initially had trouble with that until I used scissors to cut a quarter inch off the end of the role. That solved that, and it cut so nice, clean, with no gumming up the scissors. The finish to me looked better than the photos I’ve seen of the $50 something Etha-whatever it’s called... that said, I’m going have to order a role of that to compare. All and all, I’m likely to order at least one more for a few other projects and one to keep in my rv for on the spot repairs. I’m not the expert on this kind of product, but if it works, is easy to use, looks great, and lasts, I’d have to say it fantastic. As stated it’s only been a few weeks, with many days of rain, and I’ve yet to try painting over, but I will try to update review when I do. Likely, I will only remember to update if there’s issues. My advice, purchase now before the price goes up new reviews coming in similar to mine. ... show more

This stuff is amazing. Replaced a fan/vent on my trailer and wanted something to seal the seams. This stuff worked better than expected. Very sticky, and was easy to install. The previous stuff was a rubber compound that went down with a trowel. Couldn't find it in anything smaller than a 1 gallon container. This tape was better, easier to use and looked professional when applied. Very pleased with product and its finished appearance. Tip if you buy it. Do not throw out the wax paper that covers the side of the roll. I removed it and layed the roll on its side on the the roof of the trailer and had a very hard time getting it off. This stuff is very sticky. Replace wax paper to side of roll if you don't use it all in one job. ... show more

Bought this to help an aging camper prolong its life. Had a few leaks we just couldn't find a source to so we taped the whole seam. I appears to have worked and caught whatever micro cracks we weren't catching. Had a major rainstorm blow through and not a new drop to be found. Time will tell, but I'm really encouraged that this will hold up for quite awhile. ... show more
