I ordered these to replace the locks for my RV bins to add some security. They operate fine and were easy to install. I reused the locking bracket from my old locks, as they were made for the application and worked better. I rated this down 1 star because one of the nuts that secure the lock on place didn't have any threads in it. It was fortunate that the nut on my old locks were the same size. It could have been frustrating if I didn't have a spare, as these most likely wouldn't be found at a hardware store. ... show more

Well I didn't realize they came in pieces. I received them then my son went in hospital. I opened them saw the pieces tried to return but I was just over 30 days. So...not happy.

These are decent locks for the money and fixed a problem for me that would have cost $100 for locksmith fix. That said, these are about the most common keyed locks out there. Anyone who is after your stuff and even mildly sophisticated about locks will have this key on their keyring.
