I installed this on a skirted toilet. If you are unfamiliar, these are toilets that have flat sides -- no visible molded P-traps. They are very nice looking but a real PITA to install. The toilet seat bolts are actually inside the ceramic sides so there is no access without removing the toilet. Fortunately I watched this installation video and realized there is a quick-release (I installed these a decade ago and forgot how the seats installed). Anyway, this is a wonderful system and no toilet removal required. About 1 minute to remove and replace the seat. Highly recommend. ... show more

This was a replacement for a cracked Kohler same model. Read reviews as many will mention this chronic problem. BUT? The ease of replacement was SO incredible, I’m in AWE of Amazon yet again! Ordered by 8 pm—delivered before 6 am next day! Mind blowing! Same price as at Home Depot & Lowe’s but both those local stores said I’d have to wait 2 days to get in stock. Amazon? I don’t know how you do it! Kohler? I knew I could replace this toilet seat myself (age 72) so I bought your product. But if it cracks as so many have? I’ll switch out to a new product next time. (I had company due so my need was to remedy the broken one ASAP). I also learned Kohler doesn’t recommend sitting on closed lid from reading a Kohler reply to someone’s question—so be aware. This was probably the easiest toilet seat that I’ve ever installed. It took maybe 5 min to tighten up the clips to the toilet and all what you need to do afterwards is to snap the toilet seat into the clips. I would recommend a drill just because it’s easier and faster.

Excellent toilet seat, quality made. very quiet upon closing no noisy slamming. With the quick disconnect feature it is easy to clean by running under water and a soapy sponge. A good buy and reasonably priced.

At this price point this seat should have an easy clean remove feature. Otherwise it's a great seat, quiet close works well, install was easy, and I was able to 100% match color to my toilet from 1991. The color match was the hardest part because the seat ships in a box that once open can't be returned, and only a small portion of the seat is visible through the box but also wrapped in clear packaging. I had an ordeal trying to figure out if my Kohler toilet was Almond or Biscuit - really similar colors and don't think it would be possible to match just by looking through the box. Turns out Biscuit wasn't released by Kohler until 1992, which solved the issue for me - and Almond perfectly matches the toilet. Overall great, but more of an ordeal than I expected. ... show more
