I hung these light back in the tree line and put them on a timer to come on at night for 3 hours then shut off.. They worked great for about 3 weeks. Now they come on and they are really dim. The idea of a thousand lights and several hundred feet of length sounded good, but I founded impossible to install them without major tangles. Shipping them on a roll could have helped. The wires between the lights are partially encased in bright white plastic that becomes the most noticeable feature of the string during daylight, especially when installed against a dark background, such as evergreens. As I was attempting to install them, one of the wires broke and the lights stopped functioning. I did not have an opportunity to use the remote. ... show more

It has a memory of the last function setting as long as it has power to the function selector and you use the remote to turn it OFF. The default power on state is light ON with COMBINATION mode selected. So putting these on a wall switch or wifi switch results in the most annoying flashing lights result when you turn on the power. You must use the remote or the function selector to get to 8 = STEADY ON, which should have been the default, and is the default mode for some string lights from other sellers. Otherwise, it a lot of little lights for my large attic storage space. Leaving it on a powered outlet is fine if you keep the remote handy, but if the power is interrupted, you will have a flashing light show when power is restored. Omg can’t express how happy I am with these lights! We needed 200 feet of lights to go around the roof of house and these lights did that and more! I can see them from 2 blocks away! Also easy to clip to house with basic plastic clips!

I ordered these lights to go on an indoor tree. They have a nice, soft, yellow-ish glow, and look very pretty. The wire is clear, so it doesn't really show, especially in a darkened room. The plug is very sturdy, and has an extended non-lit chord, so that you aren't stringing lights from your tree to the wall outlet. This is a very nice product; well worth the cost. ... show more

These lights are amazing. I used these to decorate for my son's wedding reception. These went up and down the posts and around the entire venue. The remote control let change the lights at different times based upon the activity or the music. They seem very sturdy and nice construction. They still worked after I untangled they from a massive wad when they were taken down at the end of the evening. They do not have the 60hz flicker like the Phillips ones bought. The 394ft strand that I bought easily reached around the entire perimeter of my yard. I wish they were a little brighter but I normally had the regular white xmas lights instead of LED's. The remote is easy to use. I was sceptical about getting different lights but I've had these for a little while now and I'm pleased with them. Love the small wire and not stark white or ugly green. They would put off the perfect amount of light indoors as well and have the ability to dim and change light modes.
