It would be good for a shore house or a woods cabin. It's just as promised except for the finish, which is not even good enough to paint. The surfaces have been treated so that there is a high grain to the wood then there has been gray junk rubbed in. I don't like the finish - also it is very rough. To paint it you would have to sand the heck out of it first. HOWEVER, it was $752 delivered and I comparison shopped. That is very, very inexpensive for something that you don't have to do more than put the feet and knobs on. I detest assembling furniture. ... show more

This dresser is so much more orange in person. I had originally wanted the Pottery Barn Sausalito dresser but couldn’t afford it and thought this was a close enough dupe. With the money spent on shipping and refinishing it, I should’ve just spent the money on the Pottery Barn set. I also bought two of these and they are very off from each other. Tried to have them side by side but one is taller than the other. One also has more white-wash than the other so it’s not a consistent product either, but you get what you pay for I guess. ... show more
