Using a quality temperature probe the internal temp varies between 35deg with the compressor running and 54deg after it has shut off for a while. The indicator on the cooler never changed from 41deg which was my setpoint. I don't know what it's measuring but it's not the internal temp and I don't know what the average temp really is.     • Nice fridge, but poorly designed interior
Size: 1.3 Cu.Ft
This fridge could have been great with just the slightest alteration to the interior. Due presumably to the location of the motor, the bottom shelf is only half as deep as the top shelf, so wine bottles will only fit on the top shelf. That's fine, you know, if what you need is a very compact fridge--there are plenty of larger options on the market. However, the distance between the bottom of the fridge and the top shelf is too short to accommodate most beer bottles standing up. And the distance between the back of the fridge (on the bottom shelf) and the door) is too shallow to accommodate the same bottles lying down. In either case it's only short by about 1 centimeter, so this is such a frustratingly avoidable problem. The slightest design change--even just mounting the top shelf a centimeter higher wouldn't change the top-shelf's capacity for wine bottles--would have made this fridge great. As it stands, if all you drink is canned beer or Red Stripe (those bottles fit fine), it's a great option. Otherwise, you'll struggle to find a use for the bottom half of the fridge. Also, it's a bit on the loud side for a fridge at this price point. It's not terrible, but it should be quieter for something approaching $200. ... show more
