This is a great replacement attachment for our mixer. Our old attachment broke and this one seems to be a bit sturdier than the one that came with the mixer. So far, it has worked great and I expect it to last. I would recommend this and would buy it again if it eventually breaks.

While I can't confirm if it is dishwasher safe (as I don't have one), I haven't had any problems with the base of this whisk the way that I have with the kitchenaid one (namely, the gray stuff that comes off of it) and I expect it'll do just fine in a dishwasher. It fits perfectly into my 6 qt kitchenaid mixer and bowl and the spacing of the wires is almost identical. I'm really happy with this and glad I bought it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. When our OEM whisk broke after years of use and we needed another, I looked around at some after-market replacements and was uncertain of their quality but decided to take a chance on this one when I saw it listed and boy am I glad I did. This KitchenAid whisk attachment is strong and sturdy and does the job! I was concerned that maybe it would be flimsy, but I feel like it’s almost better quality than the original KitchenAid whisk that came with the mixer. I thought having one less wire would impair its function but it is resilient and well-made. The part where it attaches to the mixer itself fits fine and doesn’t rattle at all. For being after-market, it really has pleasantly surprised me and my wife. It works great with eggs, cream and also to break up fruit for baking into desserts (pictured here with bananas) Overall, I feel like this whisk will fill all of our whisking needs as well as hold up over years to come, 5 stars. ... show more
