Just wow. I’ve been a fan of klipsch for a while. Bose is good, yes, but they’re hyped up. Klipsch horn technology and really out fidelity into the sound since a lot of streaming media has audio compression. Clarity is nice and boy the surround height speakers just blows your mind. The onkyo tx-nr696 does a great job. Value for money combined with performance is a dangerous combination!!!!!! ... show more

Not doing a pros/cons list because there are no cons when upgrading from JBL 5.1 sound bar (although the JBL now thumps the garage). Everything was packaged great and arrived a week early which was nice. After unboxing there were no visible damage during shipping. Hook-up was simple, after running and hiding cables, and sounds great. When going from movies to music I do have to turn the subs up a little for a little more boom but during movies they hit hard when the action happens. I keep saying subs, it is a 5.2 receiver so luckily I had 12 year old pair of JBL 10s in the old garage system that still hit well. The only issue I had was the receiver remote was not functional but Yamaha customer service is sending a new one, no questions asked. There is a Yamaha music cast app that works as a remote. I will say the app is not the most user friendly but once you figure it out it functions quite well in the meantime. ... show more

I've had these in my wish list for a while and I finally decided to get them. Let me just say, very satisfied. Sound quality is great, large variety in settings and relatively easy to install. Yet the one thing that I would like to applaud the most would be the customer service. Not only did I receive the speakers (not the receiver yet) a full 10 days before the expected arrival date, however when I inquired about the receiver as I hadn't received it yet, they promptly responded to my email and gave me a tracking number then and there.     • Poor customer service
The third time i used this home theatre system the receiver shut itself off and no longer works. I contacted the seller. The next day they replyed that i should contact the manufacturer to troubleshoot. Spent an hour on the phone with onkyo to find out that it is indeed defective and was told to contact the seller to get a replacement. I have yet to receive a reply from adorama (the seller). I says it may take up to 48 hours for a reply. This whole process has wasted hours of my time. I dont recommend buying from this seller ... show more

The Klipsch speaker package sound awesome. Crystal clear and very deep bass. The Yamaha receiver sound great but the tuner is useless. It barely pick up any stations and there are several very strong FM stations in my area. Tried a different FM antennas and positioning it around and two clear station is all I can get. You should try to get the speaker package alone without the Yamaha receiver. ... show more
