Kids really love these rainbow-gradient bottles and they love making them their own. This is another one of these kits with a ton of stick-on gems and a variety of sparkly stickers. One thing that really stuck out about this kit was the pop-it "fidget keychain." The pop-it is ancillary to the main product but it was an immediate attention grabber that swung the favor of preference toward this kit vs a similar one that lacked a pop-it. This style of bottle has a tab you press to release the spring loaded spout top, which is another winner of a feature that the kids enjoy. I will caution you, do not drop this bottle on the hinge. If it breaks, it's unlikely you'll be able to repair it even with super glue, and good luck getting a replacement lid shipped out. There are ways to obtain a replacement but it's better to just be careful from the jump. The only thing that continues to perplex about these bottle-decorating kits is the "jelly glue" system of application. I'm sure it can be made to work easily and effortlessly but every kit we've tried that uses this stuff has been frustrating and difficult. By no means has this hampered our enjoyment, however. It's a great activity with a ton of customization options, and best of all you'll have enough left over to decorate another bottle, or a book cover, or your dollhouse, or the kitchen cabinets... ... show more

This is a great activity for any child who enjoys mermaids or just arts and crafts in general. Most kids love making something themselves allowing their creativity to shine, and my granddaughter absolutely loved making her own bottle. She liked the colors and bottle itself even without the stickers, but adding the stickers and decorating the bottle definitely enhanced it. The stickers and jewels were easy for her to remove from the paper and apply to the bottle. She only needed my help with getting a couple things straight so they were how she envisioned. The detachable straw lid and the locking flip top are a nice touch. The bottle itself seems pretty well made in general, but it isn't as insulated as I would prefer. Picked this to test out whether or not this will work as an activity for a birthday party. After having completed it, I think it's unique takeaway that the girls really enjoyed decorating. I loved that it is a craft that also has a practical use, if only for a short time. The water bottle itself is mediumish quality. But if your kids are like mine, their water bottles get pretty banged up during the year, and end up needing to be replaced every so often anyway. I do think that for the party I'll be picking up some additional accessories and decorations since the set doesn't come with that many. ... show more

This was right up my daughter's alley! She lovedddd being able to decorate it how she wanted and then showing it off to all of her friends. I was surprised to see it held up to multiple washings too! Cute thermos with a variety of decor options. I can visualize my grand trying to use all of them. I have concern with how the stickers will hold up to cleaning. The bottle is made well and should hold up to several drops.

This was an easy and fun project for my girls. I'm actually surprised it survived the dishwasher. So far so good. That was going to be the test for me. THe bottle isn't insulated very well so don't expect it to keep things cool on a hot day, but its a great project
