It is definitely washable. My almost 3 year old put this paint on walls, tables, chairs, you name it. It came off though! She’s in the stage where she likes to paint her hands and they wash off easily, too. I would Expect more of a water color consistency with the paint. It’s a super fun activity for kids and toddlers. It dries fairly quick and is easy to dump into a pan to give color options. The quality is good and the size allows for many painting sessions. You can smell the paint but that’s too be expected. I'd love for these six to be the three primary colors, white, pink, and the sixth could be our wild card. The colors are nice and my daughter likes them, but they don't allow you to mix your own as I'd like to for explaining color theory and just expanding the selection. The purpose of these paints was for my toddler to use them outside and just have a good time, so the thickness and wash-ability is great. Maybe not everyone will need to know this, but the paint can sting if applied to your face. Not everyone will apply it to their face, I understand, but my toddler did, and painted mine too. It didn't cause any rash or anything, it was just unpleasant until removed. It has come out of clothing just fine, and washed off skin very easily.
