Description

The Klein Tools' 69346 Plumber's Kit is designed to bring the benefits of the magnetic attachment of digital angle gauges to non-magnetic pipes, conduits or other objects. It consists of a metal plate and silicone straps which may be strapped to the non-magnetic object. When attached it presents a ferromagnetic surface aligned with the non-magnetic pipe to which the Digital Level with Programmable Angles (Cat. No. 935DAGL) or the Digital Angle Gauge and Level (Cat. No. 935DAG) may be attached. This facilitates hands-free operation of the angle gauge when working to align non-magnetic pipes or conduits. Two adjustable silicone straps wrap around non-magnetic pipes from 1- to 6-Inch outer diameter and can stretch to fit circumferences up to 18-Inch. Once the digital angle gauge or level has been magnetically mounted to plate setting pitches or measuring angles can be efficiently achieved.

I ended up going with the Klein brand over all the other knock off ones offered. Who knows, maybe all of those are just fine as well, but I can tell you that this one seems to work great, and the description didn't have any sentences that didn't make any sense, so even if it wasn't fully made in America, it obviously still has a lot of American background and its a name that everyone has heard of. Very accurately and Easy-to-Read black display screen magnets are very strong and will not fall off the EMT or rigid or wherever you might use this, the only thing I wish is for the screen to be better it feels like a tool that should have came out in the early 2000s we are now in 2021 most of all the screens out there are color definitely would have been top-notch if they would have installed a colored led screen. ... show more

I have bought several digital angle finders, but this is my favorite!! The magnet is nice and strong, all the features are easy to understand, easy to read, I kinda wish it went to 2 decimal places instead of 1, but within 1/10th of a degree should be good enough for most things. I ordered a $59 programmable digital level but received a $6 plumbers strap instead. Klein's standards has gone way downhill over the years, but this is ridiculous. The checks and balances must be nonexistent now... no one reads the orders? No one compares model numbers? No one uses UPC scanners? Are they only concerned with making more of their tools "orange" instead of actually doing a better job? I used to take pride saying "IT'S A KLEIN" regarding some of my tools... but nowadays I can only say that about their linesman pliers (and even then it's a hit & miss). But now you say in a low disappointed tone "...yeah, it's a klein..." when something of theirs breaks or doesn't right. Now you can't even count on at least getting what you asked for ... while getting ripped off by over 900% of your hard earned money! All of these companies are just getting worse and worse. Klein needs to do more than just coating crap orange... they need to get serious about quality control if they hope to have a future. SMH ... show more

    • Exactly what I hoped for
I had though to buying an electronic level for my work. I came upon this while sorting through options. I have been very happy. Does the work of a longer level, using an old 4-ft. level as a straightedge, and still works in confined areas.

    • Magnetic base hard to put on
When you put the straps tight so it doesn't slide it stretches the strap thin and makes the "adjusting lumps "slide through the holder making it all fall off
