I think everyone needs multiple levels that are doing any kind of projects around their home. Different sizes and different shapes. This one is nice because it is small enough for most projects and has magnets to help it stick to metal surfaces. I am by no means a pro builder and if you are working on something like building a house I would probably go with a more accurate type of level. The level works quite well... just as it was designed to do. It's a very good length, not too big or too small. My one gripe is that the corners of the aluminum on the top and bottom of the level are quite sharp. I could see someone easily cutting themselves on one of those sharp corners.
