Description

The full-cycle Ratcheting Crimper crimps 10-22 AWG insulated wire terminals. This tool features three crimping cavities in one tool with color-coded wire markings for three size ranges of insulated terminals. Crimper design provides low effort to crimp while maintaining a high terminal pull-off force. Built-in ratchet ensures full-cycle crimping for a uniform crimp every time. Compound lever-action of narrow-span handles puts more crimping power into each squeeze. Comfort grips help reduce hand fatigue. • High Quality Wire Stripping & Crimping Tools
Style: Crimper + Stripper
The Klein brand has made a good name for themselves. Their stripping and crimping tools both seem to be made with precision engineering in regards to every aspect of the tools. I wound consider them to be lifetime tools. I installed my new car stereo and had over a dozen wires to strip. I used to use a basic wire stripping and crimping tool, which made the job look amateurish and left me with sketchy connections. The Klein tools made the job 10x easier and left the wires looking professionally done and with more assured connections. My only regret is not getting these tools sooner. ... show more

  • Auto wire stripper and ratcheting crimper
Style: Crimper + Stripper
I bought these for work. I haven't used them much as I really haven't had them long. I did try them out however an they worked just as I expected. I already had a pair of crimpers and strippers at home but a different brand. Cheapos given to me for Xmas years ago. The strippers were so-so. These are much better. The crimpers I have at home are fine and always worked well but the plastic handles cracked. I think these Kleins are going to be much better and I will probably buy another pair for home. ... show more

  • Does a good job on crimping Terminals
Style: Crimper
It makes it much easier with the ratcheting crimping feature to securely attach spade connectors. Especially the thicker gauges like 10-12ga. It did a good job of connecting the spade connectors snugly and securely to the wire. Since it has a ratcheting feature, it stays on even when you let go of the handles. ... show more

  • The best crimper around!
Style: Crimper
This crimper is worth every penny! It is heavy duty and very easy to use. Does a great job crimping the connectors on the wire and is way better than the cheaper type crimpers. you won't regret getting it.

  • Won’t crimp your style!
Style: Crimper
This is awesome! I have a manual one and it works great but it is awkward at times. I bought a harbor freight one and it just didn’t have the bite for a secure crimp. This one does. It take a lot of force to get a full crimp. A lot of people say it doesn’t auto release, but that’s because they haven’t squeezed hard enough. Remember that scene where Superman squeezed a lump of coal into a diamond??? No, we’ll you’re too young and probably weak. For those of us that do, it takes about 10% less grip strength to fully compress these one handed. If you can’t do it, I’d recommend just adjusting the crimped one stop down so it should be easier. I tested one stop down and it worked fine and still made a strong crimp, 2 stops down and the crimp could come loose from my limited testing. Also maybe scribe a notch on the adjuster and handle so you can reference where you started, but as mine were shipped, one adjustment down worked fine. I mean I could easily work with these adjusted 100% past the max setting but for normal Humans the stock setting or one down should work fine. I also found they used some sort of kryptonite based lubricant which seemed to flare up my tennis elbow but probably shouldn’t be much of an issue for you mere mortals. Again, great crimpers. I usually use my eye lasers to solder wires, but in certain circumstances these crimpers just work better. And let’s be honest. 99.9% of you reading this probably don’t have eye lasers or if you do, can only solder up to 20 gauge wires with your eye lasers, so just keep that in mind. Again great crimpers! -Clark K ... show more
