I have become an avid user of Klean Kanteen products ever since visiting their website and reading all of the information about their company practices. I love this 20 oz TK Wide water bottle. In my estimation the wide loop cap is the best lid to use with this bottle. The cafe cap works just fine. But I prefer the better insulation properties of the wide loop cap. Absolutely no leak issues at all with the wide loop cap. Yes of course you do have to unscrew the cap to take a drink, but big deal that doesn't bother me at all. The 20 oz Klean Kanteen TK Wide is my go to water bottle. It fits in every cup holder in every car that I have been in. It fits well in the side mesh pocket of all of my backpacks or sling packs. It keeps things cold or hot for a long time. In fact they work so good that I have three of the 20 oz TK Wide's, 1 32 oz TK Wide and a 64 oz TK Wide on the way. The 64 oz will be used to hold ice all day while I'm at work or as a beer growler for craft beer on the weekends. The TK Wide works so good at keeping liquids hot that I use the 32 ounce to keep my green tea warm throughout my work day. I pour 8 oz glasses at a time and at the end of the day the last 8 oz cup is still warm enough to drink. I use one of the 20 ounce one's to carry my green smoothies to work. No matter what your needs are to keep things hot or to keep things cold Klean Kanteen has you covered and they are as good as Yeti or a HydroFlask. Klean Kanteen is a great company. In fact out of all the many different brands of insulated water bottles that are out there, Klean Kanteen is the only one that I have seen that donates 1% of their annual sales back to nonprofit companies that work on climate change and environmental issues. They are climate neutral certified and a certified B rated corporation. They use high efficiency solar panels at their corporate headquarters in Chico California. They are also the only water bottle manufacturer that purchases carbon offsets and renewable energy credits. If you are a person that cares about the climate and improving the environment, then choosing a Klean Kanteen product is worth your time and money. I have also been to Yeti's website and Hydroflask's website and haven't seen anything about donating proceeds back for climate change, purchasing renewable energy credits or carbon offsets, being a B rated certified company on any of their websites. *UPDATE* After reaching out to the company, they quickly got back to me to help resolve this issue. Ill bump my review to 4 ⭐️ for now. The customer service alone is great. The bottle is great. Just a small oversight that can be fixed remains. ——————————————————————— Ive had this Kanteen for almost 2 years. Theres not much room for complaint. The reason im writing this 3 ⭐️ review is because overtime, the TKWide bottle cap may leave black residue on the rubber gasket that comes in contact with the tip of the bottle. Id have to imagine this black residue is not safe for consumption as it could easily fall into the water bottle upon opening or closing the bottle. Hopefully someone at Kleen Kanteen is aware of this and are taking steps to resolve it. Id happily give this a 5 ⭐️ rating if they could prove they are fixing this issue. I like the TKWide bottles and cap system. I just wish it came in a single wall version with the same caps. I don't understand the consumer obsession with insulation. I make my drink in the morning and burn myself on it hours later. I want to enjoy my tea not wait all day for it lol. Still, it's a good product. ... show more

This thing is a beast. Does a fantastic job of holding ice for my 20 oz KK TKWide during the hot summer days. I no longer have to bring my Yeti cooler along with me in the trunk. I just fill the the Klean Kanteen 64 oz all the way up with ice and the ice will last me throughout my work day. I leave it in the car in the hot summer sun and I still have ice in it at then end of the day. It really does hold the temperature inside very well due to the climate lock technology and being double wall vacuum insulated. I would suggest one of these if you are tired of lugging around a cooler with you. I keep a case of bottled water in the car. Yes the bottled water is warm due to sitting inside the car in the heat with the windows rolled up all day. You just open your Klean Kanteen 64 oz container and put some ice into your drinking container (for me a Klean Kanteen 20 oz) and then pour one 16 oz bottled water over the ice and you are good to go. I'm all about the Klean Kanteen products now days. They just work really well. And I also like them because they are sort of the odd man out as far as insulated stainless water bottles go. Where I live you see lots of Yeti's & Hydroflask's out in the suburbs, but not as many Klean Kanteen's. I like being different so that is another reason I go with Klean Kanteen brand aside from the fact that they just work great. Anyhow, if you have been looking at a Klean Kanteen or maybe have had some interest in one but wasn't so sure if it was good enough, take it from me they are worth the money. There are several different color's and sizes to choose from. The wide mouth's are the best because they are easier to clean with a bottle brush and easier to drop ice into. I prefer the wide loop lid on all of my Klean Kanteen's. Only my 12 oz TKWide has the cafe cap for tea or coffee. Get one. But I'm warning you , one will lead to 3 or 4 or even 6. ... show more
