The inner plastic is very cheap and reminds me of a cheap $3 shower curtain liner. I never used it and just took it outside for the first time to practice inflating it to make sure it worked before I didn’t have time to send it back. First of all, even with wind, I could not get it inflated enough to sit on after watching the video multiple times. In addition, once the buckles were buckled, air started leaking out immediately. Then I looked inside both sides and noticed one side looked like there was a manufacturing error where the plastic was glued to each other. Then I wondered if they got one with a hole in it and then tried a cheap fix for it, then sold it to me. It’s not aerodynamic and there’s no way I can use it. They don’t want me to send it back, so now I have a ginormous piece of un-recyclable and un-compostable plastic that I’m responsible for. I’m not a wasteful person, so this is bothersome. I am grateful I’ll be getting refunded, but disappointed with the product and experience. I think this is more of a gimmick than anything else and even if this had been in perfect condition and worked properly, the plastic lining inside didn’t look fit to last long term. I love this thing! Super comfy, easily fits in a cramped dorm room. Minus one star because it doesn’t keep air super well. I have to make sure it’s full before I sit in it, after I’ve been sitting in it for an hour or so, my butt is on the ground. And even if you’re not sitting in it, it won’t stay full (like if you blow it up before you go to bed, it’ll be uncomfortably low by morning). But it’s easy to blow up, I use a fan. Goodbye, camp chair! Goodbye beach lounge chair! You've been ousted. This Chillbo Shwaggins has changed outdoor lounge seating for me - it's basically a reinvented hammock. It's light and packable enough to fit in a tote bag, so shlepping it to your site won't bruise/scrape your shins or cut your arm off at the shoulder (I'm lookin' at you, camp chair). The company's instructional video is helpful and humorous to get your Chillbo inflated, so definitely watch it. In a 6-hr beach visit, I had to put more air in a handfull of times, but I didn't mind. Clean-up is a sinch: sand just falls off and it dries quickly if it gets wet. Pack-up is super easy, barely an inconvenience, because rolling it back up is less than half the effort of a traditional air mattress, and you don't have to back-engineer it's collapse so it fits in its original holder. The comfort is amazing. If lounging is the goal, this is the thing to have. It's cozy and supportive enough for a human to lay pretty much any way as if on a mattress. Switching positions is as easy as doing yoga with an exercise ball on a waterbed, if anyone remembers those, so it's easier to dump yourself out onto the ground and then climb back into the new position. But I found several comfy configurations on the Chillbo. Very comfy. On a more serious note, I have suboptimal circulation in my legs, so sitting in chairs for long periods of time with my feet dangling causes swelling and my legs to fall asleep. This happens in 5 minutes with a camp chair, so I've severed my relationship with those. The hammock-like support of the Chillbo allows me to elevate my feet and legs to aid in circulation, which is a huge find. I would not recommend the Chillbo for activities that require observation of the horizontal plane. It doesn't provide that kind of support. One would have to subject themselves to bruised shins and limb dismemberment for sportsball spectatorship or offspring security. I love this thing. It's a game-changer. ... show more

These things are cozy for fireworks, camping, festivals, etc but MAN they are difficult to inflate! They hold air for quite a few hours then need a refill, again, difficult to inflate. Better in comfort than a chair but I’d pick a chair. My kids like these though (if I inflate it for them lol)

I bought the Chillbo originally for my girl friend who has been recovering from cancer treatments, to keep in her office when she was able to make it in to work. I bought one too, thinking we could use them at the lake or to take on short hikes. I actually liked process of airing up the Chillbo she however had a hard time at first. Turns out a blow dryer on low heat go the job done. She is very happy with the product and has been able to take breaks when needed. ... show more

Wanted a small to medium size. This is enormous. The size of a couch! And it’s a nightmare to inflate enough to use. It is entirely too big and not useful. You’d need a huge fan or strong winds to inflate this. And it’s gigantic. Hard fail. I’m 6-1 and it feels way too big. My wife is tiny. Got into it. Felt the ground under here.
