  • Good simple VR stand.
Sturdiness: 3/5 - I saw some reviews mentioning how the product did not seem entirely sturdy or bare the weight well. My oculus 2 with the Kiwi Headstrap fits securely on the stand. It’s made of what feels like a relatively cheap plastic, so it is probably not the most DURABLE material, but it holds the headset and controls firmly and flush. I do not particularly like how the controls are held on the stand, but I could see and read about that before hand and knew what I was purchasing. Value for money: 4/5 - Kiwi is a great company for Oculus products. I was torn between getting their more expensive stand but really just wanted something cheap and easy to add to my desk and organize it more. This does the trick. Easy to assemble: 5/5 - Pretty self explanatory. Contains very few parts and was clear on how to put it together. Don’t even think I bothered to look at instructions until after to verify. Overall: 4/5 - A good not great stand, that I personally find worth the cheap cost for it. If you want something a little nicer spring for Kiwi’s next stage up stand. ... show more

  • Nice Stand
I have been looking for a VR stand after leaving the head-mounted display on the floor all this time, wrapped in its original plastic protector and I was pleasantly surprised at all the options available. A lot of them are mere copycats of each other though and I finally decided to just get this one. Overall, it works, and it looks really nice sitting on top of a shelf. You can even use both the Vive Wand holders and the hanging-type holders for something like the Steam Index Controllers together at the same time and they all fit nicely. What I found disturbing however is the lack of protection for the lens because there's a huge gap where dust can just get into the inside of the HMD. Some kind of a flap or curved screen could have been implemented into this design to remedy this. I am just going to use some anti-static cloth to cover the inside of the HMD. Also, the plastic material used for the construction feels very cheap but I supposed it will hold. Not so bad for a $20+ stand. Definitely helped me out with keeping all my VR stuff neat and tidy. ... show more

  • Fantastic VR Headset Stand
EDIT: I found out that I was actually using the stand incorrectly, the controllers do fit perfectly! You just have to make sure he controller is pushed in all the way. 5/5 for this stand! The stand is definitely a must have purchase for anyone with a VR headset. When you’re done playing, it’s not necessarily the best idea to just lay it back down on the counter and potentially get knocked over. Aside from the main reasons to get a VR stand, this is what I’ve noticed from this one. Pros: - Fits headset (Quest 2) perfectly - Looks sleek - Easy to put headset on stand and take it off - Assembly is quick and easy (about 2 minutes) - Pretty sturdy - LOW PRICE! Cons: The only issue with this is specifically for the Quest 2, the stand doesn’t hold the controllers perfect. However, they still hang on and I have not had either controller drop yet. But if you look at the picture, you’ll see what I’m talking about. Overall this is a super minor flaw and it does not take away from the practicality of this: the stand holds the headset and controllers with ease. Overall, this product is definitely worth the money. It’s the best low price VR stand on Amazon. I’d give it a 4.5/5 just because of the Quest 2 controller not being seated perfectly, but for the price you can definitely look past that “issue”. ... show more

  • A really good buy
The stand is cheap but solid. It never feels like it's going to drop the headset (Quest 2). And it's nice to have a place to store everything other than the big box they came in. However, the quest controllers are now backwards compared to the original oculus controllers. They still fit, but it's a very specific placement or else they'll just plop right off. The headset is also kind of a pain to put on and off the stand securly, however I think this is more because of the strap based headband that the quest 2 has so I wouldn't say it's a fault of the stand. Most headsets (and you can buy an attachment for the quest 2) have a more rigid head strap that I think will go on and off the stand much easier. Really the missing star is more to blame on the Quest 2 design changes than the stand itself. I'm sure other headset owners won't have an issue with it. It also honestly looks kinda cool to have your tech displayed. This way and it's a very low cost way to do so. ... show more

  • Not as good as tacos.
This is exactly the same as the TNE branded stand, which I bought this to replace. As in they almost certainly come from the same manufacturer, so if you're looking for a business idea there you have it: set up your own VR supply shop. So far this stand seems adequate - the TNE one was clearly from a bad batch and shattered like the dreams of a VR enthusiast hoping to receive their headset in the same millennium as when they placed their pre-order. Still, this one at least is spared the goofy 90s-esque logo the TNE sports (but which you'll probably rarely see). It's the small things in life... I also have a stand from AMVR, which isn't the exact same, and seems to have both a superior design and construction. I'd get that one if I needed another - but really the differences are pretty slight. Amazon suggests I discuss thickness, sheerness, and value for money, so here goes: my brother in law is thicker (denser, too), my curtains are more sheer - or would be if I had any, 'builder blinds' FTW - and fast food tacos are indisputably a better value for money, all things considered. ... show more

  • Looks good, not sure how functional it is though
See pics, I have a Vive DAS and rubber insulators on the controllers. It does hold everything, and it does seem a bit more organized than just sitting it on the desk... But I'm not sure if it really does much for opening up any space that wasn't already available. I had to use alien tape on the bottom so I could have the edge of the mount off the desk, to make it really worth it. Also the piece that the headset rests on is too close to the controller stands for the Quest. I had to put a zip tie under it to hold it a bit higher to allow the controllers to fit properly. ... show more
