I asked for these for my birthday so I could learn the art of homemade pasta. I am so glad I did. Once you try it, it’s so easy! There’s also something very satisfying about running a little pancake of pasta dough through the machine a couple of times and ending up with a three foot long sheet of perfectly thinned dough! Then you cut it into thirds and add some rice flour to keep it from sticking (rice flour won’t dry out the pasta as much), push it through the pasta cutter and you have a beautiful, tender tagliatelle (or whatever you’re making) that’s ready for cooking or freezing. We’ve made a few mistakes in the dough that caused tearing or breaking or ruffling, and after re-kneading it and letting it rest it can go right back into the machine and still turn out great. The only issue I’ve had is when dough gets stuck in the sheeter. It isn’t easy to clean out unless you let the past dry for a day and then shake it out once it’s hard. The little brush they give you doesn’t help much in that regard but it works well for removing excess flour. ... show more

Easy to use, easy to clean. I spent 2 days making and freezing pasta for the winter. Great investment if you like making pasta from scratch. I had a hand crank one but it was mess and a pain to use. This is so much easier.

The media could not be loaded. Update on seller (KirchenAid) They are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend ONLY buying from them! My pasta roller stopped rolling after the 2nd use! I was extremely bummed! I contacted Amazon and they would NOT exchange it, they would only refund me and I would have to purchase a new one. I would have been fine with that had the price not increased by $89.00! I contacted Kitchenaid and they are mailing me a pasta roller attachment because my attachments are under warranty 🙌 Great customer service! Disappointed in how Amazon wanted to handle it honestly! I would still 100% recommend these attachments! By far the best! I have been wanting to purchase this 5 piece set for a while but kept putting it off due to the price! I finally just bought it! Best investment ever! I make so many pasta flavors now from Pesto to Garlic Rosemary. These attachments are well worth the money! You can do so much with these attachments. Love my setup to make fresh pasta, it makes it simple and fun. However, I broke my Cappellini cutter as I wasn't aware how thin I needed to roll my pasta for this type of cutter. With the too-thick sheet of pasta it jammed in my Cappelini cutter - well the only way to clean them is to wait for them to dry - long story short, I hope nobody has to break their brand new cutter as I did - It was user error but the quick instructions didn't help save me here either - And I don't think they sell these cutters individually so I have to buy a 2-pack and they arent cheap to begin with. ... show more
