I have a job where I am on my feet literally running for 12 hours on hard hospital floors. My new house is on a slab covered with high quality lvp which creates a very similar standing and walking environment to work. So when I come home and I need to cook or clean a sink full of dishes, standing at a stove or in front of a sink can leave my feet feeling sore, bruised and numb at the pressure points like the heel. These mats help with that tremendously. This comes in a two pack, so I had one for the sink and the cooking area. As you can see in the pics they fit really nicely where I plan to use them . They aren't quite as thick as some other mats I have had but they are spongey, almost gel like, and don't compress completely under my weight giving me plenty of supportive cushion as I cook and clean. Standing on the mat, they stay firmly in place without any apprehension that they will slip or shift. However, stepping off the mat, they are easily shifted with one foot if the need to move the mat arises. They are a good size for being able to move around at your work station. The mats are dark brown with a matte sheen. They add a little warmth and diversity to the cool color palate of greys, blacks and metallics of my kitchen. The material is pvc and stain resistant. The color and sheen should be pretty good at hiding dirt and grime between cleanings. Cleaning I predict will be easy, just take It outside, spray it with a mild cleaner if need, scrub lightly and hose it down. Leave it outside to dry. Overall I'm really impressed with these mats. If you're like me and you need a little break for your feet but don't have time to sit down and prop them up, I think these mats will give you some much needed comfort and relief for your tired and aching feet and legs, and maybe help with some minor back pain as well. When I opened the package and laid these mats on the floor, I realized they were narrower than I thought they would be, and they are not nearly as thick as the ones I had before. When I started comparing size and thickness, I realized it was my own mistake since I did not take the time to read the details before ordering. If I had, I would have known these mats are only 0.4 inches thick, and only 17.3 inches wide. I had become accustomed to mats I purchased at a well-known wholesale membership store several years ago that were 3/4" thick and 20 inches wide. Now that I own them, I am going to try these out for a while and see how they hold up. Based on the look, feel, and description of the materials, these appear to be economy grade mats and not heavy-duty premium mats. These mats are a great addition to my kitchen. I have tile floors, and standing at the sink or stove for long periods is hard on my feet and legs. These mats add just the right amount of cushion, making it much more comfortable to stand for extended periods. They look nice too, complementing my kitchen decor. Whilst the mats meet the measurement requirements, and the colors are perfect. The cushioning is very minimal. I had anti-fatigue mats from Costco that you actually did a small step-up and your feet felt amazing. These feel like hard carpet. The mats state they are non-slip. The mats are pretty light, and let me tell you they slip very easily. They barely get the job done. ... show more

IIt does what it calms to do as far as being comfortable, non-slip and waterproof, but does have a strong smell of plastic to it. Plus, you will need two-sided tape to keep it stationary since it slides on wooden floors easily.

    • Perfect for the kitchen
If you spend a lot of time in the kitchen, these are a must have. It may not appear so, but as you are standing while cooking/baking, it takes a lot out of you. These definitely take pressure off your legs. I had another set, but I kept tripping over them. I don't have the same issue with these.

We added these two to match one we already had. We liked it so much we had to add more. The sizes were correct for our kitchen. Not only are they non-slip for our shoes but also in regards to their attachment to the floor. They stay in place. The pads are soft and cushiony so you feel the difference. These aren’t very long or wide or thick, but they still help give comfort when standing for a long time in the kitchen. It takes a few minutes for them to settle since they are rolled up. Nice color. They don’t slide around too much.
