This review is for the Yamaziot Kitchen Mats 2 PCS, Cushioned Anti Fatigue Kitchen Rug Set for Floor, Non-Slip Waterproof Comfort Standing Kitchen Rug. Okay, so I've had a few of these 2 piece combination kitchen mats in the past few years, and this set is definitely not the most attractive or striking in appearance to some. However, what I really do appreciate is just how practical these are going to be. Since they are claimed as waterproof, I can just take these outside (in the summer months) and give them a good washing with my garden hose or, in the winter, I think I can just throw these into the bathtub and scrub them down. The reason I appreciate this so much is my last set of mats I had to throw out. With the amount of cooking we do, they were getting down right gross looking, full of oil, grease, and stains. They were not made to go into the washer so I didn't know how I'd clean them. Not so with these. I just point this out as if you're thinking of a set of kitchen mats, look for ones like these that should be easy to clean and last for years. Finally, these do have a reasonably nice cushion which feels good while standing on them. One star off for looks, but not a deal breaker for me. We’ve been trying to find just the right mats for our kitchen. We’ve gone through a heavy-duty mat that was great to stand on but didn’t look great, several rugs that didn’t offer any support, and a couple of other cushioned mats that are ok but always seem a little small for the space. These mats fit that last category, they are cushioned and provide some standing relief but just a little smaller than we would like to find. These are reasonably soft mats that help relieve stress when standing for a long time. They could be a little thicker but work for most of the cooking and cleaning sessions. The mats seem to stay in place a little better than the others we have had in that space, and they do not slip at all when standing on them. We like the color as it just blends into the floor, so the mats are not very noticeable. The two lengths are just right but we really need to find some that are closer to 20” wide instead of just over 17”. Overall, though, it is not a bad mat that works to keep the floor from getting scratched and wet and provides some standing relief. ... show more

I have a job where I am on my feet literally running for 12 hours on hard hospital floors. My new house is on a slab covered with high quality lvp which creates a very similar standing and walking environment to work. So when I come home and I need to cook or clean a sink full of dishes, standing at a stove or in front of a sink can leave my feet feeling sore, bruised and numb at the pressure points like the heel. These mats help with that tremendously. This comes in a two pack, so I had one for the sink and the cooking area. As you can see in the pics they fit really nicely where I plan to use them . They aren't quite as thick as some other mats I have had but they are spongey, almost gel like, and don't compress completely under my weight giving me plenty of supportive cushion as I cook and clean. Standing on the mat, they stay firmly in place without any apprehension that they will slip or shift. However, stepping off the mat, they are easily shifted with one foot if the need to move the mat arises. They are a good size for being able to move around at your work station. The mats are dark brown with a matte sheen. They add a little warmth and diversity to the cool color palate of greys, blacks and metallics of my kitchen. The material is pvc and stain resistant. The color and sheen should be pretty good at hiding dirt and grime between cleanings. Cleaning I predict will be easy, just take It outside, spray it with a mild cleaner if need, scrub lightly and hose it down. Leave it outside to dry. Overall I'm really impressed with these mats. If you're like me and you need a little break for your feet but don't have time to sit down and prop them up, I think these mats will give you some much needed comfort and relief for your tired and aching feet and legs, and maybe help with some minor back pain as well. While the mats themselves are fairly non-slip, meaning the surface of the mat isn't slick even when wet, the bottom of the mat tends to slide fairly easily on smooth floors. I thought the underside would be a little better at sticking to the floor where you put it, but that won't happen unless I use something else under it to hold it still. Otherwise the cushioned surface is very soft and is very comfortable to stand on while doing dishes or cooking. It allows for easy cleanup of water; it isn't porous, so water either puddles or slides off. They didn't hold their rolled shape too long, so now they are very flat and look good on the floor. ... show more
