Initially it worked well and battery life was good. Then after 2 months it started slowing down and losing power. Meaning it would take a couple of seconds to get up to speed before submersing in liquid then slow down to barely rotating when submerged. A week later it’s dead. I’ve had 2 before this one of a different brand that worked for 3 and 10 months respectively. An autopsy showed their motor brushes wore out. I can’t see inside this one’s motor but suspect the same failure mode. I used it twice a day for 10-15 seconds. My search for something better continues. ... show more

Uniquely designed, and rechargable! It’s very well made, and great quality. It arrived nicely packaged and in excellent time. The loop on the top allows it to be hung by a hook on the side of my refrigerator, which I love, It feels good in the hand, and is very easy to use. The colors are nice, and easily blend in with the kitchen decor. It works just as described, and I’ve been very pleased with the results when I used it. I really like this little frother to blend up my morning protein and vitamin mix into milk. It was the primary reason I picked it up, though I had also hoped to use it for some slightly frothy lattes on occasion. For the main objective it works, though it does struggle a little at the onset. The two batteries just don't give it enough power if it gets gunked up by the powder right away. All I have to do is stir it in my milk for a second and then push the button again and it'll work, but I can see why that would drive some people nuts. Once it's going it does a good job blending everything up and leaving me with a clump-free beverage with far less work and a smoother taste than a shaker bottle. For frothing milk, I feel that it leaves a bit to be desired. I have used a lot of frothers over the years, but this is my first that is both heat-free and handheld, so maybe my expectations were just too high. I figured it would pull in plenty of air when used near the surface to make a thicker foam, but the foam is very airy and weak. Add it to warm coffee and it dissipates immediately. I have whipped it extra long with slightly better results, but it's hard to keep the milk cool for that period of time and I fell like it's a waste of battery power. Maybe if it was rechargeable, but not when you have to feed 2 AA's into. I haven't tested it yet, but I have my doubts that this would work much better with heavy cream, specifically because slightly thickened milk can stop it, so I have a hard time believing it'll be able to push through such a thick liquid. Overall, I'd say how much you'll like this product depends on your intended purpose. If you are looking for a cold milk frother for your coffee, I recommend trying a different product, ideally one that is rechargeable. If you are looking for something to blend up your protein, nesquik, instant coffee, or breakfast essentials this works pretty well with minimal fuss. ... show more
