The thin stainless steel one turned out to be a snap close one and not magnetic; it was really difficult to open and only holds a few cards. The thumbdrive one is a cool effect and a novelty, which is why I ordered this set. However, the mechanism inside that slides the card out scratched up my glossy business cards. Tried loading them backwards so the glossy side wouldn't be pushed on, but the cards came out upside down and the classy effect was lost. Would probably work fine if your cards are not glossy. The magnetic closure case is excellent, - sturdy, strong closure, and professional looking. If you don't have glossy cards and are happy with a snap closure on the thin case, you might like this set. I am sad to report that this is one of the worst purchases I have ever made on Amazon. Two of the components, the thumb-drive and the leather holder are at least functional. However, they both look cheap and flimsy. Not the kind of products that I would like to use in public. The third component (cardholder), which is displayed in the center arrived with the color already coming off. Nice and comfortable, slim specially the metal one but in the same time it's light so be careful when you open and closed, I read some reviews (so please do forget to remove the white protection stick). The leather one it's better one and soft open with strong closed and more heavy duty then others. Finally you will not lose your money when you buy it, it's a three pieces any way. ... show more

Since I don't like carrying a bulky wallet around, there work very well for my purposes. Plenty enough space to carry credit cards and folded cash. Since they are made of steel I expect they would block close proximity IR scans as well.
