The media could not be loaded. Received ice maker quickly, actually received before expected.. Easy to set up, cleaned as instructions said and started machine. Ice made quickly, however factory setting for ice cube size is set 0. I found this setting to be too thick of a cube and ice would not break when it dropped. Adjusted the settings to -4 and this seems to be the right setting for us. For the money this ice maker is hard to beat. Machine is quiet (much quieter than our Manitowac) and looks very good in our outdoor kitchen. We had a Manitowoc before and it was 3x the cost and only lasted 5 years. I would recommend this ice maker. Will update if anything changes. Very happy with this purchase so far! ... show more

When I first turned the machine on, I was impressed. Started making ice quickly, and the cube size was great. It was really very loud like other reviewers stated. You could, of course, hear it but about what would be expected, and probably not as loud as my $2500 kitchenaid ice maker at a different house. However, within two hours I noticed a huge pool of water on the new wood floors. I pulled the machine out and took the back panel off and it is pouring water from the drain pump area. I was hoping it was only a loose hose, but it’s not. I tried to contact the seller but only keep getting an automated response asking for pictures of the issue. I am not going to take pictures of the leak and have it ruin the wood floors even more. Save your time and spend a little more and get a quality ice maker elsewhere. ... show more

    • Worked for 2 months died and I get shifted from one department to another with no help.

I’ve never written such a negative review but now I’m taking it back! While I could not make heads or tails of the directions sent me I hired a handyman who understood the gist of what was needed to fix it. It turns out there is a drain under the unit which had become clogged with dog hair (my dogs are super shedders) so every month now I pull the machine out so I can make sure it’s not clogged and it’s working great! I’d still recommend that the company add this step to the troubleshrooting in a way that makes sense to the average consumer, but I am thrilled that it’s working again! Original review: The ice machine worked for a couple of months then stopped working altogether. I sent several emails included photos and videos and just got shifted from one department to the other. Some of my responses were in Chinese. So very frustrating!! To date no help, no offer to replace or repair just emails saying they will have another department reach out to me. I've had this icemaker for 4 months. I typically run it for a weekend, fill a cooler or two and store a few bags of ice in the freezer for use until the next time I run the freezer. I then turn it off and let it dry off, wipe it down with a paper towel and close the door for a few weeks. In the summer I ran it more, but for winter those coolers arent getting filled up much. Unit works well, makes a lot of ice and doesnt make much noise. In summer when the AC is running you are adding heat into the house of course making ice. In winter its the same heat but its more appreciated. I reversed the door so it is hinged on the left - very easy to do. I ran a floor drain from ground floor kitchen to a basement sump pump using PVC piping in the ceiling of the basement drop ceiling. I recommend this unit. ... show more

This was a great ice maker while it worked. It produced a lot of ice quickly and was quiet. Unfortunately, it died right after a year and the cost to repair was more than buying a new unit. We will switch to a new brand.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this unit to replace a never used garbage compactor in our kitchen. Unit was delivered extremely fast and was packed well. Installation was easy although it took me a while to realize the scoop holder location. Makes ice very fast with nice small cubes. My only reservation is the noise level. We have another ice machine in our bar which is much quieter but also was 3x more expensive. That being said once the bucket is full it is only on intermittently and is still quieter than a dishwasher. Overall this unit seems well built, performs well and is an excellent value. ... show more

ice either comes out in huge chunks that can't fit in cups and then it melts so fast your drink is watered down
