PRO: -The HEAD, ARM & POLE are all adjustable. (1) HEAD: Swivels around 360 degrees and as in the same direction that a rolling barrel would. (It is not able to bent or angled at anything less than or greater than the 180 degree fixture.) (2) ARM: Swings around 180 degrees and on both sides, horizontally; if it weren't for the vertical pole, it would be a complete 360 degrees. (3) POLE: Can be put up and down, from about 2' feet minimum to 5' feet maximum. -The perfect solution for solid, bright, close lighting. (Think reading chair, desk, crafting, painting table, etc.) -Liking BRIGHT daylight, this is an ideal indoor, artificial source of just that. (I use white daylight spectrum LED bulbs and the lamp head is lined with a white, shiny metal which accentuates the brightness!) -Normally a $100.00 item, which I found at a steal of a deal in the "Amazon Warehouse" and for under $50.00. -Of all the floor lamps I've attempted using, this one is the most SOLID, HEAVY metal base, and EASIEST to assemble in under 5 minutes! -The solid base makes this an excellent floor lamp and that will NOT tip over. -True BRUSHED NICKEL finish; not a yellowy champagne type of silver. (It matches all of my other high quality, Brushed Nickel metal finishing pieces and within the house.) CONCLUSION = Would recommend to anyone and purchase another, myself. ... show more

I own two identical Kira floor lamps, purchased about six years apart. My old one, and the one I just purchased, work well and both produce good light (I am using higher-wattage LED bulbs than came with the lamps). There are two areas that could use improvement, however. First, the base and shades are hand-painted with gold-paint accenting along the edges, which somewhat cheapens the look due to unevenness of the paint job. It might look better without this accenting. Second, the instructions are somewhat unclear about loosening the cord when assembling the parts, unless you realize that there is a recessed screw holding one of the parts in place which needs to be loosened first (a small screw driver is included, but is easy to overlook while assembling). The purchase price difference (increase) between my two lamps is about thirty bucks! ... show more

Perfect lamp for reading, and this is my second one which I bought for my bedroom for when I’m reading in bed. I keep the other one in my living room next to my sofa. The turning on/off just makes it so simple by just pulling on the chain. Really cool lamps and easy assembly. 😀🫶🏼🙏🏼

Lamp was easy to put together and did note in the item description that it may contain some blemishes, so expected this. Mine had some discoloration on the stem which I could have lived with, but really didn't like. The main reason for the return is I bought this to sit behind my chaise lounger and the light was just too bright, even after changing the bulb to a softer lower watt one. Love the style, but will buy a lamp with a shade to buffer the light. ... show more

Heavy duty components, but easy assembly. Support tube is nicely threaded and base is heavy (other reviewers have noted that lamp is "wobbly". I suspect the support tube section were not securely tightened). Bronze color is nicely finished and goes well with my brown leather sofa. Lamp adjusts easily for over-the-shoulder reading. Large knurled knob secures the height adjustment. Lamp comes with a $6-7 LED bulb, so that's a bonus. I ordered this after looking at a similar Pharmacy Lamp at a local lighting store... $260!
