The dip bar attachment arrived, on time, well packaged, and defect free. The dip bar comes completely assembled, and is designed to fit 2"x2" rack with 1" holes. The rack attached to the rack upright as advertised, and is secured with spring loaded pin. There are also two drop in shims to make up for any gaps between the dip bar and rack upright. The shims really aren't needed. The dip bars are rubber coated, making for a comfortable grip when using. The bar easily detaches when not in use. The bar is a great space saving attachment, minimizing the need for a separate stand alone piece of equipment. The bar is sturdy, and works as advertised. ... show more

    • Works great, only one minor drawback
First off, I am very happy with this dip attachment. I looked at different designs, ones like these and others that attach on either side of the rack with two separate handles. I chose this design since it allows me to choose the desired width and hand placement for my dips due to the angles handles. It attaches well to my 2x2 rack and is sturdy while performing dips. The only thing lacking is the grip thickness is a little thin. I'm 175lbs and even doing unweighted dips I compress the padding and feel the bar. Some gloves could probably help out but I wish the padding was a bit more dense. ... show more

    • Fits Well On My 2x2 Rack, Fast Install and Removal
I actually have a set of dip attachments for my 2x2 rack from the OEM but mine are 2 separate pieces that install on opposite ends of the vertical rails. I think that this is superior option not only because you're installing 1 piece vs 2, but also because the bar grips aren't as wide so I can keep the focus on my chest and triceps. I was surprised at how lightweight the attachment is, but it seems to support my 205lbs body just fine. Get these! ... show more

I have been wanting a nice dip bar for a long time. I was using the arms of the treadmill for years. Lol This is a really nice setup. Attaches to my power rack easily and securely. Bars are comfortable and if good diameter. I have had no issues with weighted dips but do keep some weight on the back of the rack to help counter balance it. Can make it whatever height you want and use different spots on the bars to vary grip width, although it is limited. Overall I love it and highly recommend it if it will fit your power rack! ... show more

    • Works great on my power rack
I have a lower cost squat rack/power rack that uses the 2x2 tubing, not the bigger 2x3 or larger tubing so this is exactly what I was looking for and it is working great. It attaches easily and doesn't jiggle around when using it. I am happy with it for the price.
