Being an older couple, our flatware had been needing to be replaced for some time. I didn’t want to spend a large amount of money, but wanted a nice looking pattern that would hold up for a long time. This set (I ordered two sets of six place settings) was delivered by Amazon in the two day promised delivery. I was pleasantly surprised that it was very nicely packaged from the , with each piece of flatware individually wrapped. One of the boxes had been partially damaged in transit, but there was no damage to the contents. The flatware is a very nice weight, the pattern is lovely, and the stainless steel is shiny. Unless you looked for an identifying brand stamp, you would not be able to tell it from high end flatware. My only issue is that the dinner forks are extra long, both in the handle and the tines. The teaspoons also seem a bit larger than I’m used to, but neither are a deal breaker as we have adjusted using them. The salad fork would be at better fit for a child or small adult. The knife blades are a lovely shape and have a good serrated edge. Overall, I could not be more pleased. ... show more

Heavy and really nice. I was surprised. Like the other reviews have mentioned, watch yourself on the butter knives! It's not that they are sharp in the way you would think of your chef's knife or filled knife, the serrations on the butter knives are really squared at the ends and are more prominent than is typical on a butter knife in my experience. It's a little bit like a saw edge. Use good knife practices and common sense and you'll be just fine. ... show more

This is the best flatware set I have bought. The utensils are heavy and strong. I am able to mash cat food without the spoon bending. There is actually a difference in size between the dinner spoons/forks and dessert spoons/forks. The utensils are beautiful polished. I’ve had the utensils for 6 months and they haven’t rusted.
