Folks, among the major memory makers like Kingston, there isn't a whole lot of difference. Buy on price and appearance if you're using ARGB. Otherwise buy just buy on price if you're not using ARGB. Screenshot of Memory profile with Hynix chips shown for clarity sake. Note that you may not get the same DRAMs on your device so YMMV. The one thing that I will slam these guys on is that their ARGB software is at the bottom of the heap in ARGB software. First, they make you download it from the Microsoft App store which is a major no-no. There is absolutely no good reason that they shouldn't support this directly from their website. This lost them a star in the rating. On the other hand, although I rarely need to use tech support, it was refreshing to hear an American voice at the other end of the line who knew there stuff. That sets Kingston apart and maybe might earn them back a star. At the very least, I'd pay a little more for them just knowing that their tech support is superiors. Warranty's are typically similar among memory makers but read the customer reviews about customer warranty repair experience to be sure. There are certain memory companies out there from Paris New York 😉 to name one, that make it almost impossible to exchange a product that has failed. Kingston memory has never failed me so I can't speak to their warranty policy which is probably a good thing. The only reason I probably don't use them more is because they often price themselves out of the market by a wide margin. In this case, they were very competitive. ... show more
