  • Expensive, but high quality.
Size: 4800MT/s Style: Black Configuration: 64GB (2x32GB)
Unfortunately I bought 2 kits of these from Amazon within 3 days if difference. The first set was priced as twice the value of the rest of sellers on Market Place, well as the suggested price on Kingston Site, but I chose Amazon because the seller ratings did not appeal to me. Also I got confused because the item was described as a kit of 2 ram sticks, and then product picture it has the 2 Pack stamp, sobI thought that ai would be receiving 2 kits of 2 sticks —4 sticks. Wrong! When I realized mu mistake I went on to purchase another kit (3 or 4 days later?) and to my surprise the price tag was almost half of the first purchased, presented as a Prime deal. I felt cheated. But that is Amazon. Regarding the product itself: Kingston Technology Fury Beast, this is my second time installing that on a new PC build (the first one a previous version). The quality of the product is great. None of the sticks was faulty or DOA. Its low profile (even with heat sink) is great when, like in my case, you need to mount a fairly large CPU cooler. I don’t usually overclock but during installation testing of DRAM behavior. These passed with flying colors. As for durability, my first set (previous version) has been running almost daily for 8 to 10 hours. None has fail mr yet. In sum: Very happy with quality. Not so much with Amazon pricing. ... show more

  • Verify the Memory QVL for your motherboard for BOTH Alder Lake (12th gen) and Raptor Lake (13th gen)
Size: 6000MT/s Style: Black Configuration: 32GB (2x16GB)
This is really great RAM for my setup. Asrock z790 PG Riptide mobo with an i7 12700K cpu. Seems like a lot of people are confused about RAM speeds and compatibility with their setup. I realized that RAM with a speed of 6000MHz is all my setup can do currently with a 12th gen cpu controller even though my mobo supports faster speeds. If I slapped an i7 13700K in there, I would be able to use RAM clocked to 6400MHz. This is info I found under the memory QVL for my specific mobo and I imagine others will be similar since the 13th gen controllers supports faster RAM speeds in the newer z790 chipset mobos. I hope this helps someone out. Edit: I found out that I was unstable at 6000MHz. I turned the speed down to 5600MHz and now I have no memory or CPU errors like I was getting in OCCT. It's most likely my board or weaker memory controller on my i7 12700K. I instead am going to work on tightening up the timings. I'm going to upgrade the CPU to an i9 13900K at some point and I imagine I will be able to hit the rated speed with this RAM. ... show more

  • XMP works for 2 sticks but if you go with 4, it will have to be slowed down
Size: 5200MT/s Style: Black Configuration: 32GB (2x16GB)
Good memory, glad they are in stock and the low profile no extra led lights etc is a plus for me. I have a noctua air cooler and clearances were something I wanted to make sure I wasn't dealing with. I bought 2 sets of the 5200 speed for 4 sticks. By doing this the XMP mode would just go into a loop boot. If I went "auto" in bios it was defaulting to 4000 speed. I was able to work it up to 4800 speed, I may try getting closer to 5200 but right now I prefer stability over crashes. I'm on a Z690 prime asus board with the 19-12900k cpu. My last PC lasted me nearly 10 years so I'm hoping this will keep me future proof for another 10. ... show more

  • Not a bad set.
Size: 6000MT/s Style: Black Configuration: 32GB (2x16GB)
Bought 32gig set of 2 and will only run stable at 5800 htz. Still a good product but not capable of running advertised 6000 htz speed.

  • Best deal for DDR5s...
Size: 5600MT/s Style: 5600MHz Configuration: 32GB (2x16GB)
Needed DDR5s for a new build and after some research, decided that these Kingston's in 2x16 Gbs offered the best choice, at least for my purposes. While generally speaking, though DDR5 pricing has come down quite a bit, it isn't very cost effective when compared to DDR4s, which offer much more bang for the buck. But, having said that, since these kits are for a new build with Intel's Alder Lake, I thought I'd go with these. In my view, I opted for the pair of 16Gbs because the 2x8Gb kits appear to have only 4 banks, while the 16's have the expected 8. In addition, with the 5600 kits, there's a pretty high probability of receiving the SK hynix chips. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to receive a kit with the hynix chips which is preferable to Samsung's, at least for my purposes. So, all in all, I'd say it's a pretty good deal, all things considered. Still kind of overpriced at this stage compared to DDR4s, but, at least, for SK hynix DDR5s at this price point isn't insanely overpriced, as had been the case with DDR5s most of the past year or so. ... show more

  • You will only get stable 4.8ghz
Size: 5200MT/s Style: Black Configuration: 32GB
Good value for the money, but don't expect 5.2ghz without your computer crashing randomly. You can maybe get 5.0ghz, but it still acts unstable.
