Received this SS sink 2 days ago and it's going back today, the 10th. I would have given it 4 or 5 stars had the sink not been trimmed so poorly and mildly damaged in transit. The front corner edge was wavy in it's trimming. High on the very corner and curved upwards along the front and side about 5". This flawed trim job would not allow the sink to sit flat / flush with the counter top. Poor quality control. This should have never left the factory. This same corner and the other were slightly bent, making space between channel for mounting and edge of sink pinched. This was very frustrating and disappointing as I was all set (along with help) to install this sink in the kitchen. It is too bad problematic products like this leave the factory. Delays & time wasted can not be recovered. Glad i wasn't paying someone by the hour to install this just to have it returned . The quality of the stainless steel used seemed pretty nice compared to many I looked at locally at the "big box" stores. 18 gauge I believe compared to 22g-20g. finish seemed ok. Back was sprayed with sound proofing and rubber pad applied around sink opening at bottom. Pretty nice sink other than the flawed trim job. Not sure if this was a hick up in the production line or a chronic issue . Not sure this sink is worth the supposed retail price or even the current $150+ price but for the discount price I received it at, it seems like it might be a nice sink for the money (minus the trim issues). A replacement sink is on the way and hopefully there will be no flaws or damage to this sink. I will update or write a new review after it arrives. On a side note. I have noticed a very similar sink sold by another manufacturer that has received some similar reviews to mine regarding the defective trim jobs. Can't help wonder if this is not a common sink produced over seas and then distributed by a few different companies. ? I do appreciate Amazons return policy and service. ****************************************** UPDATE *********************************************** Original sink was picked up by UPS on Thursday, 6/11/15. Replacement sink was received on Friday, 6/12/15. I was very happy with the turn around speed of this situation. Unfortunately this is where the happiness starts to disappear . The box the box the sink came in was dented, heavily creased and had several holes poke through it. My Spidey senses were already starting to tingle. I opened the box and noticed the cardboard lip that encases the sink lip had some damage to it as well. I removed this piece and noticed a few small yet somewhat sharp dents in the front leading edge / lip of the sink. Not cool. Really quite unbelievable that this would escape quality control. It doesn't appear to have happened in transit as the damage to the box was of a large nature and these dents were small yet precise . 18 gauge stainless doesn't dent all that easy and this must have been hit by something hard, small and somewhat sharp. This is not an accidental bump on something like a counter edge or fork lift tongue/fork. There were also some sort of scratches or pits and soundproofing over spray on some edges and corners. Over all a rather shoddy looking sink and unacceptable for new. This sink will be sent back and I will try one more time to acquire a non damaged sink. This is very frustrating and time consuming. I really have better things to do than repackage sinks and wait for UPS pick ups. The packing tape isn't exactly free either. Please Amazon &* Kingston Brass.....GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. Quality control seems to be non existent. How many sinks will it take to get one that is usable ? One would think that looking the item over BEFORE shipping would save lots of headaches and costs. Return shipping can't be cheap or economical if you have to keep sending sinks back and forth. I have removed 1 star for my frustrations and time lost in this unfortunate ordeal. Sure hope the 3rd time is the charm. Then again maybe it's 3 strikes and your OUT!! This is by far the worst experience I've had on Amazon. Fingers crossed I receive an undamaged sink this next time. It should be a nice sink ...and would be if it didn't keep arriving with damage. ********************************************** UPDATE II *************************************************************************** 3rd time the charm...NOT. Sadly the 3rd sink showed up promptly and was delivered on a Sunday which was somewhat impressive. Again, this is where the good ends and the bad begins. Yet again a defective / damaged sink was sent. If you recall in my previous reviews I had received 2 defective/damaged sinks. The first sink had faulty trimming on front/corner edge. The 2nd sink had small dents and some other minor flaws. So what was wrong with the 3rd sink you ask ? D... ALL OF THE ABOVE. Yes folks this 3rd sink had a faulty trim edge that would not sit flat/flush on the counter and it also had the little some what precise pointed dents. The trifecta I guess. Finally have had enough and called Amazon on the phone. Really not sure what is going to happen or if this will get resolved. All I know is I have wasted a lot of time and effort in an attempt to receive a non faulty sink and install it. A week later and I still sit here with a hole in the counter top and no sink to put in it. Needless to say quality control for this particular sink is non existent. I'm starting to wonder if the whole lot of these sinks are factory seconds ? Buyer beware!!! ... show more

I will admit that I was very hesitate to order this sink after reading some of the reviews, but there were some good reviews also. The price was too good to pass up, so I went for it and took a chance and I am so glad that I did. I love this sink! It is just what I needed and I check on prices everywhere before ordering it and this price beat them all by a long shot, so I took a chance. I know this is a product review, but I also took a picture of the packaging because of the complaints that I saw on other reviews. It was packaged very well with protective corner and sides as you can see in the pictures. I had a professional plumber put in the sink and he did have one complaint, but not with the sink itself but with the screws that are sent with the clamps, the clamps were ok, but the screws are flat head screws and they were hard to get to and the screwdriver kept slipping off, he said if the screws would have been for a hex head or phillips head that it would have been much easier to install the clamps. He was using a drill and had a hard time with those screws, if it weren't have been for them, he would have gotten it installed much faster. It is already hard to get to, because you are lying down under a sink and trying to get to corners and anything that would make the installation easier, in my opinion needs to be looked at for improvement. But all in all, this is truly a very nice sink, no dents and no scratches, it arrived packaged well and in perfect condition. Again I am so thankful that I ordered it and for others product feedback that helped me make my final decision in purchasing this sink. I could have really missed out on a great deal if I wouldn't have read all of the product reviews, that is what they are here for, us the buyer. So I do suggest reading all of the reviews instead of only the bad ones. ... show more

This is a relatively nice sink. Definitely worth it for the price. Our issue with it is that it was shipped in a cardboard box just large enough to fit the sink, with NO protective packaging material around the sink what so ever. As a result, one edge of the sink has a significant bend in it in one corner. We did not notice it until the plumber was on site to install it, so he was forced to bend it back out as best as possible. It doesn't affect the sink's function, but it's still a bit noticeable. This sink is only temporary item for us as we plan to remodel our kitchen later and install an undermount sink. This is why we are overlooking the damage to the it. Otherwise, it would have been sent back for a replacement. All in all, it's a heavy gauge sink, not noisy, easy to wash food crumbs and gunk out of sink (even the edges because they are rounded) and down the drain, and it's huuuuuge. Too soon to tell how it will handle wear and tear from dishes, but we are pleased with it for the time being. ... show more

Mine arrived A-Ok. I read all the reviews concerning shipping damage . I ordered anyway, as this sink is exactly what my Wifey wanted & the price was right, plus Amazon aways makes it right if there's a problem. I can only state that they must have improved the shipping box in a major way, because the sink edge was protected by cardboard, and the box itself had extra edge support.......very well packed. The sink is as other reviewer's have stated, no need to repeat, other than to state that the finish is brushed SS, which seem's harder to locate anymore. It is NOT a Satin finish. Quality sink, Great price point. If your looking for a large, deep single, you'll like this one !!! ... show more
