This came last year, ordered for our hot tub, and worked perfectly for the few winter months we had it going. The sound is great, the lights are super fun and it held a charger for a long time. The Bluetooth connected seamlessly and worked with phone calls as well as music. Really great. After getting it out from summertime storage (remember it’s for a hot tub) it would show that it was charging but then not turn on. I got out the manual just to make sure it was not user error (it wasn’t) and then contacted the company to let them know of the problem. They responded quickly and were glad to give me credit for a new one to replace it without difficult requests like sending it back or taking it apart or silly questions. They did mention that the inside could have some corrosion and recommended not storing it for so long without turning it on next year. We will try! Oh my goodness. I purchased this Portable Bluetooth Speaker at the beginning of this pool season. I love it. It’s easy to use and the sound is clear. I like that it floats in the pool. I find that I don’t need the volume very loud to enjoy the tunes. Many speakers blare loudly and I worry they will bother the neighbors. Now the best part …. When my grandkids came over ( ages 4 and 7) they fell in love with this speaker. Not only does it play music, it has color changing lights. They think it’s fun to throw the speaker into the pool and have it bob around while enjoying their music. I purchased each of them their own speaker for Christmas to use in their pool. This speaker is great for pool days. It stays charged a lot longer than I had expected. The lights are a fun feature to it. I do sit my speaker in a basket hanging from the pool, if water gets into the top of the speaker it muffles the sound. It is a very easy fix, just turn the speaker over and tap it until the water comes out. It is very portable and easy to use. ... show more

Update Seems like Amazon didn’t take my new star rating but this is five star. The vendor reached out to me, asking various questions to troubleshoot the device. They sent me a new one which arrived in a few days. Got and charged it. Connects to Alexa and plays music. my Alexa is at least 50 feet away, and the connection is very strong. I can also hear Alexa notifications but Alexa cannot hear me when I give a command. This stinks after I’ve got out to the pool and decided I would like to turn up the volume. Now we just make sure that it’s plenty loud before we walk away from the Alexa. Connecting to my iphone works the same way. I can play music and hear notifications but I cannot ask Siri to make a phone call. Fortunately, though, as it says in the product description, once the call is placed the caller and I can hear each other well. This might have something to do with the Bluetooth protocol, I don’t know. But I am happy that it connects right away, and it plays music for me. Because I get the notifications, I can decide whether I want to go to my phone or alexa to see what they are. I am happy with the product as is and have proven to myself that the microphone works just fine. I just wish it did this tiny bit more. Based on the product I now have I can confirm that it does everything the description says it will, and I’ve changed my rating to five stars. And it takes quite a while (hours) to charge up completely and I am using a nine watt charger. When it is fully charged, the red light turns green. I noticed on the website it says only use five watt so hopefully that’s not burning it out. 😂 once charged it lasts for hours. We used it for several hours in the pool, and it was still going strong. Initial review: Connected to alexa and iphone. However the mic does not work. Ok for music but wouldn’t buy again. No way I can find to contact vendor. ... show more

Finally figured out how to adjust the volume with on-board buttons (additionally, i think it sends some universally standardized "next" and "previous" code to the audio source/player... which is at least compatible with YouTube... haven't tried with other logical sources) the audio is satisfactory in terms of clarity - delivers good, crisp high frequencies and good midrange. haven't extensively tested/played bass-y stuff through it, but the few full-frequency audio segments I have heard do not disappoint (for its size) Battery has not disappointed either. Could be louder. But over all great to have with a pool party kid’s birthday has lights. I still haven’t got to check the light out at night in pool but the Bluetooth is great. Can’t beat the price either. Very compact and light weight. The battery life stays forever! Charging fully takes a few hrs. Update! I tried using it again. I just have to hold the power and play button longer and it turned on! I’ve been able to use it in the pool and at the beach. :) Bought last Summer and used it for 2 months. It was great. It was loud, floated in the pool and the colored lights looked great at night.
