The media could not be loaded. Excellent little tool. Asked to review in my automotive shop. We specialize in imports so we have oem and pro level scan tools. Snap -on, Autel and Launch. So this tool is pretty close to my Launch. I was told this company paid to be able to use the software. I have dealt with King Bolen before and have always had good service. Any questions are answered promptly So the tool is excellent. My only gripes, which are no big deal, is I prefer wireless. This tool is wired but that is like I said not a deal breaker. The k6 is bi directional. It will not reprogram BUT can code. Come with battery tester cables and also full tpms diagnostic and relearn. We have used on Lexus, Honda, Vw and Chevrolet this week. Connected to all and did everything I needed. A great thing is this tool has a built in printer. Quick and easy to give a report to your service writer or customer. Great price, pro level and comes with obd 1 connectors and battery tester cables. At the time I got this one they were also offering a 200 off coupon on Amazon!! Pick one up!! ... show more

Got this for an issue with my C5. I was definitely impressed with the amount of OBDII PID's and large number of graphing windows it can show at the same time. Saw and played with the actuation tests of stuff and relays like SAI pumps etc. Really helped me see and understand what was going on. I got the big screen, which I love, but you can save a few $'s by getting the smaller screen if it hurts a little in the wallet. Big selection of adapters with the kit for random vehicles and non standard OBDII connector. US wise. Charge via USB C port on top. Run time has been pretty long, but I don't run it all day. Just home use DIY. Make the most of it by watching Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics and Scanner Danner on YT. They're diag pros. ... show more

This is the best OBD2 scanner I've owned! Being a DIY mechanic, I do all my car care and repairs on mostly Asian vehicles (Honda/Toyota/Lexus) and recently ran out of the capacity of my beloved XTool D7, which I have owned for multiple years. I really appreciate multiple built-in features with K6 Pro, e.g. for battery testing and TPMS activation and relearn. Don't think of these lightly--I have been looking for TPMS activation tools for my vehicles and, on Honda and Toyota, this couldn't get done with the inexpensive tools good only for GMs. I've only used K6 for a week or so, and this little 6-inch-screen scanner is impressive. It is an all-in-one scan tool with very advanced features. Highlight a few really great features: * Great quality: touch screen is small but responsive; easy to hold in my hand and you feel the build quality. Even the battery tester cable/clamps are so well made and big enough to have a good grip on the terminals. * Outstanding coverage of make and models: It works so well on my Asian cars. Don't have much experience though on the American makes. * Built-in features: As I mentioned, it has the hardware for TPMS and battery test built-in. I really enjoyed the built-in printer; great to have a piece of paper for reference, perhaps even more useful for shope owners with real customers? * Great battery: I used it for multiple days on and off without charging and think it can last 10 hours on one charge. * LOTS of adaptors: It even includes adaptors for OBD1, though I have yet to work on any older vehicles. * Advanced features: I used some of the pro-level features and they worked out great. It is a bi-directional scanner with functions for ECU coding and smart keys (haven't used this yet though). A couple of not-as-goods: - Two years of software updates: I hope they provide a longer period of update. XTool D7, for example, offers 3 years of updates. - Screen size: On the one hand, the smaller screen is good to carry around and very easy with the strap around one's hand. On the other, it's challenging to do complex graphing, e.g. when you need to combine/monitor multiple sensor readings. For now, I couldn't think of anything really negative about K6 Pro. Again, it's the best I've had and it's a bargain for $450. It's now the tool I go to and will see how long it will take for me to run out of its power! I will provide an update then. ... show more

I am an automotive tech by day and night. I work at an independent shop. We currently have a Bosch ads 625x and an otc encore. Both very nice scan tools, with great features. But they lack some special test/reset functions that are necessary in modern cars. Such as setting parking brakes in maintenance mode for pad replacement. They work on most cars, but sometimes we're stuck manually turning back the pistons because we couldn't get it in maintenance mode. This k10 scan tools picks up where our shop scan tools leave off. Have not ran into any vehicle that it couldn't reset something or command something on/off. After I use it to diagnose the customers car and am awaiting approval for repairs I like to explore all the different modules and see what it is capable of. The wireless connection is seamless. The auto vin works on most vehicles. Early obd2 it still requires manual input but that's to be expected. It comes with many obd1 connectors that I haven't used. And may not use as we don't work with older vehicles that much. The tool updates very frequently, about every 2 days there's some updates coming through. Whether it's manufacture specific, maintenance test/reset or just software updates. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. For what it's capable of it's price is unbeatable. The high end name brand tools are great and capable of many functions but can be out of budget for many people. This k10 is a great alternative. ... show more
