The mattress is comfortable for short term use. It’s a bit soft . Also the edge of bed all around is very soft and lacks stability. Not as thick as I would have thought. I did have to put a pillow topper that is about 5 inches wide which makes a difference. Opening box it came in was easy and it said it would inflate once plastic was cut open and to give it time. This is absolutely not a hybrid mattress. I own a very expensive hybrid mattress besides this one. The difference is huge. For its price it’s a great mattress, it’s firm as advertised and I am super comfortable on it. From the softness you can feel the springiness. There is practically no foam on the mattress. It has minimal cushioning, and you can bounce on it easily. The springs are big and I don’t think it’ll last more than 3-4 years.
