Are you looking for a bed that offers support but is also extremely comfortable? Are you looking for a hybrid bed that doesn’t feel like a squashy mess and offers a quality night sleep, especially for those who struggle to fall asleep quickly? Look no further! We have been sleeping so well since we bought this bed it’s been about a week and it’s held up well. It hasn’t lost its firmness like I’ve heard so many hybrid beds have within the first few uses and the quality is phenomenal for the price. We were looking at beds in the store before this bed and the ones that met our requirements were astronomical in price upwards of $700 or more. We were just not willing to spend that much on a bed since the last time we spent that much on a bed it didn’t really stand the test of time. The other thing I really like about this bed is that it is quiet—so if your partner gets up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it isn’t gonna wake you up with the ringing of spring screeching and you can move around on the bed without feeling your partner bounce you up and down. It also unrolls and expands like extremely quick after you cut the plastic it is rolled in so be ware so it doesn’t smack you in the face or anything. It took about 8 hours to get to its full shape after expanding. The only way to go with this bed is the 14” firm—that really makes the difference so I promise you it will be money well spent. This is a genuine review too! No one paid us for this like so many reviews you see online. We have a waterbed frame built for us by my uncle in 1965. We were concerned about finding a non-waterbed mattress that would fit. While the inside width of the frame was 72 inches, 10 inches from the bottom there was a "lip" that was only 71 inches. I studied the helpful pictures and "guessed" (hoped?) that the mattress coils (which probably have less give) would fall below the frame lip. It's perfect! However, putting a bottom sheet on is a real challenge. I thank the person who commented that they regretted opening the mattress bottom side up because it helped us avoid the same mistake. It is heavy and unwieldly for 2 aging people. The mattress itself is wonderful. We prefer firm and that it is. We did a pillow topper but more for protection than anything else. My husband swears that it has eased his back and hip pain. It is the perfect fit for this great mattress at a great price. ... show more

    • Desperately needed a new mattress

So I have shopped around for almost 18 months and I had originally decided on a different mattress. Well long story shirt that was a mess and we had no bed so I took the leap. I figured well at this price point and it has a guarantee let's do it. It arrived on Saturday and we got it put on the bed right away. Went in a few hours later and I was shocked that it had pretty much fully inflated. I didn't notice any odor or anything so that was a plus. I do warn you once you pop that plastic it does start coming up right away due to the coils in it. So I let it be. Next morning around 6am I couldn't take it anymore and laid on the bed. I fell asleep right away which never happens and slept 3 hours. O felt a little sore but slept really well. Sunday night I let it be but this morning same thing. That 3 hours of sleep I felt rested. I'm going into this realistically that for the first week or so while my body adjusts I may be sore but I have to tell you after the 2 naps my body didn't hurt nearly as bad as it had been. Tonight I'm going to give it the full night sleep test so we shall see. It's super soft material is nice and it does feel like you sink in some due to the foam top layers but it's not the type of sink in you can't get out of. I will update as time goes by and I should add I have severe back and hip problems. I am disabled due to that so they are severe and to have sleep and feel rested and not hurt to the point of tears trying to roll over to get out of bed is new to me. So again I will update this adventure but so far so good! ... show more

Okay, so lets get the one negative out first, attached is a photo of a odd defect I noticed about 3 days into sleeping on the mattress. The photo was taken approximately week three which would had been 29th of March. To me I don't see any change in the performance of this beautiful mattress from this defect, although it is just super cushy in that area. Now, deeper into the mattress. It is exactly as advertised medium-firm. After letting it breath for about 87 hours I began sleeping on it. Now anything would be an improvement from what I was on the last few years, that being said for "taking a chance" on buying a mattress online and extensively researching for weeks, i can say I am completely happy with my purchase. I do prefer a firmer mattress so after about two weeks I added a bunkie board to my frame which doesn't require a box spring, just as the mattress. Prior to the bunkie board it was a more firm but hug you feel, now with the board I get the support I need for my back and knee issues. Even my physical therapist (who helps track my sleep with my ring) is really impressed with the deep sleep I'm now achieving and how much less I am awake, or roll. Being able to sleep on my back and stay in that position for more then half the night has done wonders! I am just over three weeks in and am really enjoying this mattress. Definitely a good investment in my opinion. Give it a go! Ps. I also follow the instructions to a T, including letting it breath daily, I'm not sure if it's helping but there is definitely zero trace of sag or body indentation. ... show more
