So, I'm lucky I work a 3rd shift job that allows me to use my Legion 5 gaming laptop for hours a night. As you can see, it is small enough to put into a book bag and take it with me. There are really only two choices if you want proper cooling of a gaming laptop, and thats either the llano or the iets gt500/600. I actually purchased the 500 and 600 but both were too large to bring with me on a regular basis. With the llano it is the perfect size for my 16in gaming laptop, and the cooler is small enough to travel to work as well. I have been using it for a few months now, and I love it. The fan can get a little loud, but I keep the fan around 1100 rpm, and it's quieter then my laptop fans on full blast. The llano keeps also keeps my temps while gaming under 70c on average, on both the cpu and gpu. Without it, the laptop averages around 80c. Which, for a gaming laptop, is still good temperatures. If I crank the fan to max rpms it keeps it around 65/60c while running prime95 which is amazing. While gaming temps never saw above 55c when it is running at max rpms. But, sadly, the fan is too loud at this speed unless I have headphones on. But because of my job, I simply cannot do that. So 1100 is a good sound to performance ratio. The lights are nice, I suppose, plenty of choices, and the build quality is solid. Yes, it's expensive, but if you are like me, and want to make sure your laptop lasts, I consider either the llano or iets coolers a must buy. Or, if your laptop is getting into the 90/100c while gaming because either your fans are dieing or thermal paste is drying up, this will extend the life span even further. I don't know what else needs to be said. Tldr; if you need PROPER cooling for your laptop, and your laptop has bottom ventilation (which is required) this will do it justice. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. extremely thorough review! I uploaded pictures DURING max CPU/GPU benchtest to prove that this is the most efficient laptop cooler. Programs HWINFO (temps) and Cinebench r23(max out computer w/ bench test performance) undervolted with INTEL XTU AND ARMOURY CRATE 140/160 PL1 AND PL2. This laptop cooler is amazing and keeping my attempts down to 44° C in Turbo mode idling. During benchmark it keeps my CPU temperatures down to the low 70° C's. I did replace the liquid metal inside this laptop for the CPU GPU die's. Before I was getting 84° C with 98° peaks. Now I don't get peaks at all and it's helped reduce throttling. Overall this is amazing airflow, It has a solid thickness and is not cheap feeling The plastic is thick and not flimsy, It has extreme great functionality as it holds my laptop in place with the clips and the clips in the back to elevate it are very nice and firm and do not fall like the other laptop coolers. This is extremely great comfort as I type on this thing It is very easy. Has it extremely dense thick foam border that is thick and a thick bottom. The phone does not move when you pull the laptop off it is really the perfect invention I don't know how to explain it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After 3 weeks of using this product. I would like to give it a 4 star, but understanding how machines with power work, it’s a 5! 😇 I’ve had several laptop cooling systems in the past, sure they all had RGB lights, but the power, space, and quality were no comparison. First, let’s talk about how this can connect with your laptop. (Note: I don’t use it in this form because I have a docker station, but I did test it to ensure the usb ports are working). The cooling system comes with a USB-C to USB-C connector that connects to your laptop (cable included). After connecting this piece, you can then connect a mouse and keyboard to the USB slots on the cooling system instead of your laptop, and boom, you can send the signal of both devices and use them as normal. Awesome! Next, the power of the fan. It actually cools my laptop by around 20-25 degrees Fahrenheit. It comes with a nice pad that you can place your laptop on so that the bottom does not get scratched. This was carefully thought of and well crafted to include. It also comes with a dust proof filter so that the fan underneath does not intake dust. This machine can blast cold air like no other. The trade off is that with lots of power coming from the fan, it will sound loud when it’s at max speeds. However, it’s understandable, it’s blowing powerful cold air. The RGB lights make it look pretty, and there are several types of settings you can use for the lights. It all depends on how you like your light settings to be, there are static colors and there are dynamic colors as well. I use the dynamic rainbow function of light settings, there’s no life without colors! To summarize it all together, this fan was well worth it. It’s a good weight, it’s durable, powerful and pretty. I have a MacBook Pro from 2019, 15 inch sitting right on top of the pad, and the cooling system gets the job done. ✅ If there are any questions about this cooling system, feel free to comment below. I absolutely LOVE this cooler. It does get really loud at the higher settings, but there are SO many fan speeds that it's really easy to navigate and find one that cools the amount you need, as well as being quiet enough for your personal preference. I did have some issues with mine not working after a while, but I reached out to customer service and they helped me within a day or two. It is extremely noisy but really supports the laptop cooling system greatly. I have a $7k+ laptop and I rely on this device to augment the built-in system which is apparently inadequate for cooling when doing high-end gaming with the 4090 card OCed.
