  • Serious Cooling for Machines Under Load
Video and photos will be added soon! A quick note on color changing: If you are like me, and just want a single solid color with no marquee effects, here are the steps to get that (took me a few minutes to figure it out as there are no instructions): 1. Hold and press the "M" button for 2-3 seconds to reset the colors back to the original first setting. 2. Press the "M" key 12 times to get to the single color mode. NOTE: When you get here it will initially cycle through all the colors. 3. Press the "C" key to activate the color lock feature. 4. Press the "M" key until you get to your desired color. That's it! Now for the review. I have a 2019 Razer Blade Pro that I have been looking to keep cooler overall (knock on wood, I have had no issues others seem to face with this machine). After browsing through cooling pad options I stumbled on this pad, and liked the concept, and the light band (I usually am usually in my office which is dark or dimly lit so some soft lights are always welcome) so I thought I would give this one s try. There are other brands here that provide the same exact product, but this one I could get same day as opposed to two days, so I decided on this one. Ordered at 10AM and had it in hand before 8PM, not bad. Everything was packaged very well, not rattles or anything from the box before opening. The cooling pad was in the protective plastic sleeve, and the power adaptor was separately wrapped in it's own plastic. This is a good time for me to note that this unit does not plug into your laptop's USB ports. It has an AC adaptor that must be plugged into the wall. The cord is about 5-6 feet long (estimating) and I had no issues with the cord length being too short. The foam pad is perforated so you can remove the inner band to accommodate larger laptops, which I had to do. The foam is very soft and high quality, and even after being compressed between the lid and bottom of the box, the crease that resulted was gone within a couple of minutes. The base portion with the fan has magnets that connect with the metal discs on the underside of the foam to hold it in place. Initially 3 of the magnets fell off the base due to poor adhesive, but a little dab of super glue on each solved that easily. Once I was able to get the color band the way I wanted it per the instructions above I decided to take it for a whirl. It's nice that once you get the desired light effect the settings are saved when you power the pad on and off. Yay! You don't have to do all that work over again. Note: I didn't do extensive benchmarking I just monitored my CPU and GPU temps under my typical workloads. Without the pad I my CPU typically runs between: 40-59 degrees (centigrade) when idling or under light load, and between 70-90 degrees under a heavier load or during an extended gaming session. The GPU usually runs 45-55 degrees at idle/low load and 65-80 degrees under heavier loads or while gaming. After adding the pad I notices a drastic reduction in temperatures which really surprised me. At an idle or under a light load my CPU and GPU temps range between 30-39 degrees, and when gaming or under heavy load the CPU ranges between 50-60 degrees while my GPU ranges between 40-49 degrees. Much better results than what I was expecting, and I don't even run it over about half way up where I was able to tolerate the white noise and get the performance I wanted. If you turn this thing all the way up it is loud, and you will likely have to use headphones or something to distract you from the noise. I only use it at about half of the max fan speed and am happy there. I can do whatever I need to without getting blown out by the noise, and if I have iTunes or Netflix on my second monitor, I don't have to increase the volume higher than normal. Overall I am very happy with this thing initially, and we will see how it holds up. I would recommend to anyone looking to add some serious cooling to their laptop. I wouldn't recommend it for portable use as it is quite bulky and is dependent on AC power. I am still looking for a portable cooling pad for on-the-go use. ... show more

  • Beautiful, versatile, and kick-ass.
(If you don't need a detailed review, you can skip to the second-to-last paragraph because it summarizes everything above it.) Instead expecting you to read three-four paragraphs on all the different products and things I've tried in search of the perfect cooling system for my laptops, I'll sum up and say I've tried EVERYTHING--including doctoring up products myself as well as using multiple products at once--and nothing has worked as well as the ELELAK F60 RGB Laptop Cooling Pad; it is one of the best purchase I've ever made--I'm literally in love with it. Firstly, I want to address the noise-level thing that even the sales page says should be a concern. To make a long story short, it's not that bad; yes, you can definitely hear it--but there's no rattling, so it sounds a little (though not exactly) like white noise. Also, a lower power level usually works great because all the air goes right where it needs to (further explained below)--and obviously, a lower power level means less noise. . . . I would think that less than 1% of laptop owners would have good reason to run the F60 RGB at its highest power level on any kind of consistent basis; I have a pretty darn powerful laptop with a pretty darn sleek design, and that means it can get VERY hot--but it stays very cool while on my F60 RGB, and I never really have to run it at more than half power. The F60 RGB's design makes it so that virtually all the cool air goes directly into your laptop (so long as it has vents on the bottom as most laptops do [but even if yours doesn't, you're going to want the most powerful cooling pad you can find--which I'm guessing would be the F60 RGB--or you'll need an entirely different type of cooling system]). As far as I know, that makes this cooling system unique; with every other cooling pad I've ever tried, the air all over the place. Again, I've tried figuring out my own ways to cool my laptops, and they each paled in comparison to the F60 RGB because in terms of simply cooling down a laptop that has vents on the bottom, it's virtually perfect. Moreover, the power control for the fan is a dial without notches, so the power level will be EXACTLY what you want to. No wishing you could go between two power levels--you can turn the dial to precisely the power level you need. As someone who works long hours from home on his laptop computer, I appreciate the F60 RGB's ergonomic design; it can reach higher inclines than most other laptop cooling pads, which I like--but of course you can keep it at lower inclines if you prefer. I had no idea that I would love the RGB lights so much; they somehow do not distract me with their continuous streams of beautiful colors--and to be honest, they even put me in a good mood. That is an amazing added bonus (and I don't use the word amazing lightly). Also, you can turn the lights off completely. That may not sound impressive, but it is because most laptop cooling pads have always-running single-color lights for the fans, and they can annoy the crap out of you. The construction of the F60 RGB is quite nice as I predicted before buying it. In fact, the main reason I bought it is its METAL brackets/lips for propping up the laptop; (at the time of my writing this) most other laptop cooling pads have plastic brackets with moving hinges, some of which are delicate (one has even broken on me before, and my laptop almost fell onto the floor). But with the F50 RGB, you will have no such problem whatsoever; I think mine will last for years to come--and as soon as it breaks, I will rush to buy another one (or whatever future model is newest). While some other cooling pad might be quieter, it would probably have multiple other problems. Here's an incomplete list of problems I've run into with other cooling pads: 1) its brackets/lips (which prop up the laptop) were cheaply made, eventually broke, and my computer fell off the cooling pad, 2) the cool air went all over the place, worked less efficiently, and annoyed me in the process, 3) the cheap circuitry broke after only months of use, and I was left to buy a new cooling pad (that happened to me twice), 4) the LED lights for the fan(s) annoyed me because there was no way to turn them off while the fans were running (I don't even know why fans need lights--and I certainly don't know why they need lights that can't be turned off), 5) the cooling pad didn't do a steep enough incline and wasn't ergonomic to my liking, 6) the cooling pad's fan wasn't strong enough and my laptop would still get hot, and 7) I was constantly adjusting some little thing with the cooling pad because overall it was less than one-fifth as good as the F60 RGB. . . . Conversely, the F60 RGB has given me LITERALLY ZERO PROBLEMS. And while its fan can certainly be heard, it doesn't rattle at all and is perfectly tolerable (by the way, that's coming from a guy who places abnormally high on value peace and quiet); noise cancelling headphones would be helpful--but they're probably NOT a must if you're going to use the ELELAK F60 RGB Laptop Cooling Pad. As a final thought, several years of working from home on my computer has helped me realize that keeping your laptop consistently cool makes it work a lot better, gives it a much longer lifespan--and in the process, you save time and money, while being more productive. It's a win-win-win-win--unless you get the wrong cooling pad. The truth is that most cooling pads pretty much suck, and I'm convinced that's why they are used by only a small percentage of laptop owners. And as cooling pads generally cost a very small fraction of what laptops cost, you're not really saving money by going with a less expensive one. In fact, you might be losing money by putting your computer at risk whether direct (such as an insufficient cooling system) or indirect (such as getting annoyed while constantly readjusting something with the cooling pad, losing concentration, and knocking your laptop over as I have ALMOST done countless times). . . . In summation, I've tried EVERYTHING when it comes to keeping my laptops cool--and nothing has worked even half as well as the ELELAK F60 RGB; even at its higher price point, IT'S BY FAR THE BEST VALUE! ... show more

  • Keeps my laptop around 70C when under a massive load while gaming.
This thing is powerful! I am using this as a more portable cooler for my RTX 4080 while gaming. It has consistently kept my laptop around 70C, while other fans couldn't keep me below 80C. It is very expensive in comparison to other laptop cooling fans, but it does as advertised. Only draw back is it cannot be powered via USB and is a little noisy at full power, but I haven't needed to pump it up to full power yet to keep me cool. ... show more

Used on a Lenovo Legion laptop with an RTX 4090 GPU. The fan gets really loud at full speed, but it kept my laptop cool while playing Star Citizen. • Honestly best cooler I’ve ever bought.
1 month user I’ve tried many laptop coolers , but this one right here is by far the best . Couple things . This cooler is very loud when you turn it all the way up but I’m sure you won’t need to . I’m using this on an MSI GS77 3060 GPU and a i9 12th CPU. Everything on max settings while gaming with the cooler on half the speed. My GPU temp never reaches 70c same goes for CPU. Another good thing about this is that it has a filter in the back where the air intake is, which keeps the laptop very clean. You’ll need to mess with the fan speed so you hit the sweet spot where you get the cooling and barley hear the fan noise .11/10 for me ... show more
