Exceeded my expectations. I was looking at a higher-end bed frame for a new King mattress and delivery was 8+ weeks out. I took a gamble going to Amazon and purchasing this in Black Friday. Taking my old bed apart (similar style) had me screaming for how poorly it was put together. This assembly was cake walk compared to that. I'm a 125lb female and was able to get it put together solo in less than an hour (mainly because I was exhausted from a 2 hour disassembly of the old frame). The instructions confused me at first with numbers/letters matching up but was able to figure it out. If you just look at the final assembled bed, you can easily map it out and goes quick. They did everything right with this one. It came with clear instructions, and it also came with all the tools needed for the assembly. It looks great, looks just like the picture. On the description it says no boxspring is needed, which is true. But you can apply both the boxspring and the mattress, with no issues. The material is Good quality. We love the frame for the cost it’s great and serves its purpose especially the storage in the back of the headboard. if we ever move the pieces can go right back in the headboard! The instructions were weird for the fact that pieces are labeled with letters but the instructions the pieces are numbered? It made it take a little longer but we figured it out. Also the boards that lay down for the mattress are not sized correctly but we made it work by trimming one of them down. ... show more

It was very easy to put together by myself. It took just over an hour. I came from an 200 + dollar ikea bed frame and when I slept on it I was out like a light. I say this because I have HORRIBLE insomnia. I highly recommend this frame!

Its a solid bedframe that looks neat and clean after building. The wooden slats for support are as good as my metal boxspring and also mean that I don't have to lift the bed to vacuum. The bedframe was easy to put together, no twists, turns, or frills, just nice and simple, and done in a half hour or so. The wooden slats then just spread out right onto the frame rails and you're done, they are all held together so its stable once its built. The headboard is nice and plain, and the robo vac has clearance to scoot right under this bed for cleaning duties. ... show more

Although this might not be the most premium bed, it's a really good value for what you get. Everything you need is included except the mattress itself. The upholstered headboard is attractive with a nice clean modern look, but also has a warm feel since it's dark and covered in material, and different than the other common tufted ones you see all the time on the market. I'm tired of those. The dark color also means it won't easily show stains. The frame is sturdy and I prefer the wood support boards it comes with over metal under me because I feel like it's healthier to sleep on - more natural and you don't have the metal interfering with your sleep which is why they came out with the grounding sheets. You also don't need to buy a box spring because the boards act like a platform to support the mattress. The bed wasn't difficult at all to put together, it looks beautiful, and seems to be solid quality, so I really have no complaints so far. ... show more
