My review is heavily based on the value for what you get. We have a couple of bed frames that are similar to this one and we paid more for, and I do think the price is very closed aligned with what you're getting here. The frame was packed pretty well and as you'll see there were quite a few parts that are stored in the back of the headboard. That probably does help keep costs down. Everything was packed in a way where I don't think there would be any damage. It comes with fairly simple directions and all of the hardware. I didn't need to use the "spare part." I did use supplied tools even though I have my own. I wanted to just use what was provided and it definitely served the intended purpose. I would recommend when assembling the frame that you not tighten everything down until it's assembled. You may need just a very small amount of wiggle room as you're lining things up, but I will say that everything did seem to be machined well and I didn't have any misaligned holes at all. The headboard (as you can see) is cushioned and I wouldn't consider it plush, but certainly enough to lean against if that's your thing. It has a very minimalist look. The bed slats do have velcro that attach to the frame, which may serve as a helpful addition as we have had some beds where the slats have moved around. So far the bed has held up, but this is still the early days. No squeaks, or any kind of movement with loosening hardware at this time. What I was most wary of with this frame is the slats. I had an old imea bed frame with slats and they migrated and broke off their fabric tape and generally made my son’s life miserable. The slats for this bed are taped but one side is Velcro and they stick to a Velcro ledge on the inside of the frame. It took me about an hour (because I asked my 10 year old to “help”) to put together and I’m very happy with the results. It came with a standard Allen wrench and also an Allen wrench ratchet to get in the very tight space where you secure the legs to the headboard. It was an easy build. It’s interesting guest room and my mom has been sleeping on it for a week without any issue. It has held up nicely and looked sturdy during construction. We tried to put a 5” box spring over the slats but that made the 10” mattress too tall on the frame- so the pure memory foam mattress is directly on top of the slats- again without issue. ... show more

I like how easy this was to assemble. took me no time at all. The headboard has decent padding. I just wish it had a little more ground clearance. This frame won't allow the storage bins I had for my old frame to go under it, so I will be going to see if I can get higher legs for it or if I can get the old ones off my old frame to bring the height up. ... show more

When I opened the box and only saw the headboard, I was like where's the rest of the bed! They somehow fit all the components for the bed in the headboard, that's pretty cool. So pretty much if you're moving, you could potentially dismantle the whole bed and store it in the headboard. On appearance, the bed looks nice, simple and elegant, and can fit with most decoration styles. It comes with wooden slats, so you don't need a box spring. It fit my queen size mattress perfectly. Assembly took about 30 minutes, mostly because the manual was a bit confusing, but if you just follow the drawings, it'll go faster. They include all the tools you'll need. I have owned a platform bed for many years now, and love the fact that they’re lower to the ground and you do not need a boxspring. However, the one that I use in my master bedroom, as well as the more common platform beds, Do not have enough slats to provide support for the mattress. I have had to go and purchase my own wood to support the bottom. Also, the price point is usually in the $400 range. This bed offers so much more at a fraction of the price. I wish I would’ve found it years ago as assembly is easy it’s comfortable to sleep on and no added materials are required for the perfect support. I like that it can hold a lot of weight and is extremely stylish And can be easily dusted and maintained with a dryer sheet.
