We ordered this 12-inch mattress to replace a medium mattress that we purchased from a reputable local mattress store 3 years ago. We found that the mattress felt too soft and we had body aches. I couldn't believe that we could order this 12-inch thick queen mattress from Amazon and it was delivered in a box that we could easily carry and manage without having to go out of the .Once you open the box, you can take out the rolled-up mattress inside the compressed air bag and then unfold it on the bed, then open the two sides with the provided utility knife, which will immediately expand the mattress and return it to its original shape. After opening the plastic bag, the mattress returned to its original shape in less than 30 minutes, We slept on this mattress for a few nights and felt very relaxed and slept much better than before. This 12" medium firm mattress has many layers, including individually wrapped coils and multiple layers of foam, with springs at the bottom, including a top layer of skin-friendly and breathable fabric, which makes it very comfortable. My doctor recommended I choose a midium-firm hybrid mattress, which may help to reduce my back pain. That I found this one on Amazon . The package is big and heavy, it was very hard to get it onto the bed. I have waited for a couple of days for the mattress to fully rise. It only got 11 inches, not 12 inches. I dont mind to wait for a couple more days to get to the 12-inch. The top layer is solid and comfortable. I didn't feel a huge difference with my memory foam mattress. I’m not sure why this has such high ratings. I’m a side sleeper and I can feel each individual spring on my hips and shoulders. This is not comfortable for me at all. A lot of people say they bought this for their spare room and their guests say it’s comfortable …. I think your guests are being polite. It come in a small seal up compress wrap. Very convenient in carrying into your bedroom. It take 3 days fully return to it original shape of mattress. It’s very soft and comfy. No need to buy the bottom spring box.
