I moved into a new place and I bought it as a temporary mattress until I decided on a permanent bed. The first 5 days were great. After that, I had a few issues. I had to reinflate it approximately every 48 hours (which might be the norm, I don't know). On the 6th or 7th day, I started waking up in the middle of the night trying to get comfortable. When I woke up in the morning, my back was very sore. This is an EXCELLENT air mattress. I just don't think it's good for an extended period of time. We purchased the King Koil twin 20" tall mattress. This is an excellent mattress. It was very comfortable until it started to lose air after a week of use for a house guest. We added air every night for a few nights until it would not stay inflated. Upon careful inspection, we felt a leak around a support coil seam. We installed a patch but the mattress would not hold air. There must be another seam leak somewhere. I contacted the company and they promptly got back to me and sent a replacement mattress after I provided purchase documentation. I could not be more happy. Had this less than 1 year. It was only used 2 months a summer for 2 years. Once up it never was deflated. We also put a rubber mat under so it was never abused. Used by one adult ( me), all of a sudden this summer it started losing air. This morning I found myself sleeping next to the floor. Cannot believe I spent this much money for 4 months of sleep. This was a California King mattress so finding a leak was impossible. Update Decided to call customer service and at least tell them my sad story. Explained the situation and to my surprise I had purchased this under a year ago and they will replace it. I just had to take a picture and give a reason. Received an email almost instantly, lo and behold they are sending a new mattress priority! I am updating my stars because of great customer service. ... show more

You can’t tell it’s an air mattresses I put a blanket under it and separated it from all the walls so it won’t rub anywhere and pop. I love this thing, it saved my back, it’s portable and quite convenient, I’ll take it camping with me and serves as a comfortable guest mattress. I love the sheer size and comfort. I bought the recommended mattress topper and it’s just as comfortable as my beauty rest at home. I love it! I love the fact that you can adjust the firmness of it just by adding or subtracting air. This product has a "built in pillow" that I missed in reading the description, and the pictures do not really show this feature. What it means is the head of the mattress is raised up. Even so, it doesn't eliminate the need for a pillow, however, with this raised portion and using a pillow, my guests woke up with hurting necks and headaches. It did also take a couple of days for the plastic smell to dissipate, it was quite strong the first two days. The mattress inflated quickly but does not automatically shut off either in inflate or deflate mode so stay with it while inflating or deflating. I did like the cord keeper opening that has a "door" on it to keep the cord from hanging down. I liked the size of the mattress, the 13" depth allowed for my normal sheets to fit (almost, the raised head portion did present a bit of a non-fit). I do wish the air mattress manufacturers installed some type of non-slip option on the bottoms. This one does slip around easily on a carpeted surface. ... show more
