It does not lose air. We used it almost every day for a prolonged period of time. Very good body support. The inner "coils" are columns of air throughout the mattress. Mounted internal air pump with inflate and deflate controls. It has a discreet storage compartment for the attached power cord. Usually, it takes less than 2 minutes . to inflate fully. Nice and very firm. And my special thanks for the awesome customer service. We purchased this in November 2023, and in mid-April 2024, we observed a small hole. This is beyond the 30-day return policy. We tried our best to patch it, but it didn’t work, so we decided to reach out to customer service. Bought it for adult guests to use for a 2 week period. Easy to blow up, held pressure, and was very easy to deflate and store. No issues with it during the initial use. They reported it was very comfortable. Remember to use a mattress pad to increase the comfort/feel under the sheets.

I bought this as a temporary replacement after being so frustrated with those online bed-in-a-box companies that I threw out two mattresses in two years. I needed something supportive for a plus-sized person that wouldn't aggravate my back pain, and I needed it to be low enough for my toddler to easily climb on and off. Pros: This is a great quality air mattress with a fast pump. The pump does require electricity, so don't plan to take it camping unless you've got a generator. For the first week as it settled in, I added air every 48 hours or so, but now that I've been using it for about a month, I top it up about once a week. I expected this from an air mattress, and that's why I got the electric pump--it's really easy to use, just twist the valve, let it run for 30 seconds, and voila, firm mattress. I'm heavy (~285) and this supports me with no problem. I don't feel like it will pop or that it hammocks in the middle. My daughter is a BIG FAN of jumping on the bed, and even with the constant abuse, it's still doing well. I put a rug gripper under the mattress to prevent it from sliding around on my wood floors. Cons: One thing I don't love about this mattress is the built in pillow. As a stomach sleeper, it forces you into a backward banana position that is just not ergonomic. I really wish they had a flat mattress option. Also, this thing is firm. Really firm. If you don't want it to sag in the middle, you really need to blow it up all the way, which means it's gonna be a bit like sleeping on (slightly forgiving) concrete. To get around this, I added a 3" latex mattress topper, which I had planned to do anyway, since I wanted this to feel like a real bed--it's temporary, but why not be comfy? It worked for a few weeks but I still felt it was pretty firm. I decided to add an additional 3" memory foam topper and a pillowtop mattress cover, and now my bed is a fluffy dream. Soft top and supportive mattress. I'm going to buy longer sheets, since my 18" deep pocket sheets are now barely clinging on even with industrial strength sheet suspenders. Verdict: One mattress, two toppers, one rug gripper, some sheet suspenders, a mattress cover and some new sheets later, it's fine. ... show more

I purchased this mattress in June 2023. The mattress was easy to inflate/deflate and is quite comfortable. We used it several times over the past 9 months with no issues. This past weekend I was unable to deflate the mattress. The pump was running, but nothing was coming out of the deflate valve. After initial month of use, needed to add air. 1st time I added air it broke. Just needed a boost as is typical in air beds after initial use. NOW am Losing air every 2 hours and can’t find a hole/nor solution. The dials are HORRIBLE. Turn this way, turn that. Spent way TOO much $$ on this and got -0- value. Also shorter than expected. Maybe due to head of bed? They use that size as height but all around bed is closer to 16”. Not as I believed in ad. Had to buy another different brand in less than a few months. Don’t understand why after 1 refill it died. It’s a DEAD BED! No thank you for this brand or type. Money down the drain. A little upset over that. I take care of my products as I want them to last. Great durable and worth the money. Comfortable. Fast to fill and hop on after moving all day. Slept like a baby. Occasionally need to check for adding air .after a week or so.. but not a lot ..
